Hey There Delilah x Plain White T's

And alas, Spurs lost to Man United, undoubtedly due to the extremely biased referee-ing... but then again, Robinson was being the now off-form blundering twat he turned into nearing the end of last season... so, yeah.
Oh well, many more matches to look forward to, I suppose.

The holidays are here and so far, I've gone shopping and completed a few more novels, rushing the completion for Zann's posters and I even managed to babysit Rifqy, who weighs tons more than your average 6 month old should... and who took a stinking dump right after I changed his pee-heavy diapers. Phoooey!

That was my first dump-filled diaper change, mind you and needless to say, I panicked.
I looked at him and asked, "Why now!? Can't you hold it till you get home?!" and all he did was look back at me straight in the eye... sizing me up, probably thinking what a loser aunt I was, not being able to change just one stinky diaper.

I'll save you all from all the gory details and all I've got to say is that consuming nothing else but milk for the first 6 months you exist in this world gives you green poop.

High waisted pants are all the rage.

And I'm so craving for authentic makes-your-lips-lipstick-red mee kuah, the sun and the sea.

Another Perfect Day x American Hi-Fi

Friday marked the end of Principles of Digital Media Design, and undoubtedly, I feel kinda sad.

The rushing through of Freehand and Photoshop to meet the 2.30 p.m deadline, by which we have to have an A3 hardcopy of our pieces up on the walls, the hectic photo editing during days we have to do photography... and dealing with Cavvy's pretty ah-beng-ish English.
It's all good fun at the end of the day =)

On another note, the month of Ramadhan (read: FASTING!) is drawing nearer and nearer.
It commences officially on the 13th of September, and my 3-day-week new semester commences on the 17th of that same month.
Not too bad, I suppose.

I'm currently in the midst of "paying back" the days that I didn't fast last year.
4 days down, 5 more to go... and I thank Han for putting up with me and for the circumstances that comes along with fasting...

Just one more semester to go and I'm officially a polytechnic graduate.
What do I do from there? Where do I go? Do I really want to enroll myself into a University?

So many questions and I'm not sure where I can find the answers.

And and and... I want this!!
All wrapped and white.

And as you can see, I'm oh-so-very random.

Okaaaaaaay, Rifqy's giggling to himself on his play mat... Let's go see what's up.

Wherever You Will Go x The Calling

And so....

Final Year Project I is over =)
Santosa wasn't as intimidating as we all expected him to be either, which is great.
Finally, a short break before the horror that is FYP II begins.
Well done, ladies *hugs for everyone*

Life has been just absolutely... great =)

From the friends in class who make PBL a lot more bearable...
...to the one who forces you to take photos with them (as depicted below).
...to JUICE magazine, who did an exceptionally splendid and brilliant job with their latest August issue.[Go get your JUICE, it's free
(cos according to them: "Money is eevil") and its amazingly good too.]

...and finally, to Han who just attempted to sing finished singing Only One by Lifehouse.

*I adore you, lover.

Take Me Away x Lifehouse

For taking up so many pages of my diary.
For seeing me home 5-7 days a week.
For the times you've held me close when I cried.
For times you swept the hair away from my eyes, kissed my forehead & told me everything's okay.
For the 4.8125 semesters we've spent knowing each other.
For the 17 months together.
And for so many things you've done for me and with me.

I've no idea what else to say to you but, "i love you so,so much, dear"

Landing in London x 3 Doors Down

I'm gonna be like any other random blogger in this universe and randomly blog about what happened or is going to happen in this eventful month we all know as July =)

Firstly...
After many, many, many weeks of programming and hard coding, the FYP team decided that we all needed a major break, in conjunction of completing the programming and starting on the Project Report.

Treated ourselves to a hearty lunch at Swensens and the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix's sneak preview (a day before it opened island wide) on the 11th of July.

It felt soooo, soooo good to go down to campus on a Wednesday WITHOUT a laptop =)
How was the movie?
It was... okay... ho-hum.
The effects were spectacular... BUT, it doesn't even come close to the awesomeness of Transformers.

Duh.

I rushed back to campus for Gamelan rehearsal, Lala met her boy and Zann and Linda spent some quality naggy-mamas time together, shopping =)

Secondly, there was the Gamelan performance for the Racial Harmony Day celebrations at the Ulu Pandan Community Centre.

RP really represented this time, sending an entire line-up of Malay dancers, Indian dancers and the Indian Cultural Group, the entire Lion/Dragon dance troupe and of course, the Gamelan IG.

Considering that the organisers from the CC were bloody disorganised, we still had a great time playing and hanging out as an IG.

Han came down and watched us perform a couple of songs and off we went to town.
Impromptu neoprints, claypot rice and lotsa quality time together.
Thank you, baby.
You made me a very happy girl today *pokes*

And lastly, the upcoming PM Visit at the end of this month.
Buildings are repainted, screw ups are covered up and every IG is just bloody busy preparing for that day...
We've got rehearsals every other day... Not including the previews that suddenly pop up out of nowhere because "OSG wants it" *rolls eyes*
Urgh.

Aaah...
I need sleep.
The eye bags are horrendous.

Good night, beautiful babies.

Transformers Theme x Mutemath

Irsyad with me... during Hari Raya last year.
He's nephew number... 5?
Heh.

**Digresses...

It's weird when you listen to songs on your player and suddenly the lyrics start to strike you really hard...and the song that you thought reminded you of someone else, suddenly reminds you of another being... and you feel this familiar ache that you're so uncomfortable with and you long for it to go away... but it just won't...

And then... there's this unexplainable feeling when your design facilitator decides that he wants to call you..
Ash.
Short for Ash-kin.
When my real name is Ashikin/Shikin...
Or rather Wan Nurulashikin Binte Syed Hussein.
He can't pronounce it well... so he just... slurs it?
Haha.

Right then...
I'm off... it's been a long day, I'm bloody tired and irritable and I need to do my FYP.

Transformers x Mutemath

I swear it was a sign when I heard the Transformers' theme song play on the radio at 6.15 a.m this morning.

I knew I had to go catch it... it was today, or never...
Sooooo, Han and I made our way to The Grand Cathay at freaking 9 a.m. =)

We purchased our tickets and made our way to Ya Kun Kaya Toast for... well, toast.
We got a table next to a Chinese family of four; Mummy, Daddy, Elder Brother, Younger Brother.

While I was happily enjoying my toast, I can't help but overhear the conversation that went on between them...

Daddy: Samuel, what do you want to be when you grow up? A Transformer?
Samuel (Younger Brother): YES! I WANT TO BE A TRANSFORMER!!! *puts on his Optimus Prime paper mask*
Elder Brother: You cannot be a Transformer! They're robots... you boyyyyy.
Samuel: BUT I WANT TO BE A TRANSFORMER!

I can't help but smile at his silliness... a kid who wants to be a Transformer... Haha.

A few minutes later, Mummy decided to ask Samuel the same question, perhaps she thought that he finally understood that he can't possibly grow up and become a Transformer...

Mummy: Samuel, what do you REALLY want to be when you grow up?
Samuel: *stops munching halfway and thinks* I WANT TO BE AN AEROPLANE!!
Mummy: Aiyooo!! You mean pilot! You cannot be an aeroplane!
Samuel: NO! NOT PILOT! AEROPLANEEEEEE!!!

I looked at the kid and grinned at him... and he showed me his Optimus Prime mask.
Pretty cool, actually.

So, the time slot for our show finally arrived and we went up to the theater.
I've never been a very big fan of all things robotics... Gundam... Transformers... well, except for those Bomberman thingies of course, but they're cute... but they're not exactly robots either...

The show was awesome!
Like Samuel, I'm now convinced I want to be a Transformer when I'm older.
I'm dead serious.
Maybe a Scrambler bike, perhaps... with sleek exhaust pipes that can turn into missile launching pipes with a tracker that could detect the enemy so its bulls-eye all the time and green headlights for eyes, a soft butt that is my bike's seat... and the list goes on.

I like the Autobots and all... but maybe, I'll be one of the Decepticons instead and destroy mankind... and maybe Megatron will decide he needs a lady-bot
and we can head back to Cybertron for more Decepticons and return back to Earth and rule the world to-ge-daaaaaa!!!

*sigh*
I've got to go get my FYP programming done now.
Back to reality...

I still want to be a Transformer *pouts*

Spin x Lifehouse

Theme: Attention (Digital Media Design module, RP Chairs)

The fear of NOT getting my module selection done and over with, is now overrrr.

So, it'll be an easy-going 3 day week next semester...

Manufacturing & Logistics II

Hospitality & Retail Systems
Multimedia Authoring & Production

Looking forward to the multimedia module... Green room, filming, filming,
Final Cut Pro.
HIA HIA LALA!

Oh!
Gamelan practice yesterday was superbbbbb!
So fun... and the sounds came out beautifuuuuuul.
And the songs are like so... not Javanese, this time around.
But, oh well...only in Gamelan, I suppose.

Rehearsed for our upcoming performance this coming 14th July...
And also for the performance for the Prime Minister visit on the 31st of July.
Republic Polytechnic's Official Opening Ceremony (again. *rolls eyes*) and 5th Anniversary Celebrations.

Final Year Project's a bit of a struggle but I guess we're ahead of several teams.
Kudos to the team *hugs all your freaky short legs*

Digressing to my next topic of that very adorable nephew,Rifqy.
He's babbling up a storm, trust me.

And lastly of course, to another being who's very much adored in my life, you
Every thing's so great, so smooth right now.
I loved the yesterdays, am loving today and will be loving all of the tomorrows with you.

Right then.

One more day of school to brave before the very well deserved weekend =)

Letters of Regret x Amber Pacific

I know I should be mugging away for tomorrow's UT... but at this point of time, I'm eating some junk out of the food ration pack Daddy brought home...

Think it's called "Tomato Noodles with Chicken" but seriously, it should be called,
"The-cook-ran-out-of-ideas-and-threw-a-packet-of-mixed-vegetables-and-artificial-chunks-of -chicken-and-decided-that-he'll-stir-the-mix-really-hard-so-that-the-noodles-look-like-barf-and-
OH-and-he -added-tomato-puree-at-the-last-second Noodles".

It's depressing...

And while I'm on the topic...
I freaked out when I realised that Han will be off to get married to the nation in about less than a year's time...

And my dad, is a man with a photographic memory, so he'll probably remember what Han looks like (He said and I quote, " Chinese but looks like a Malay boy") and then, decide to watch Han like a hawk -_-''

Somehow, he always knows if not all, MOST, of the new recruits' name *panics*

I'm not planning to start my "Who will I turn to when
(fill in the blanks)" or "Who am I going to (fill in the blanks)" because as for now, he's still here... and I'm planning to make the best use of OUR time together.

We're going to list down all the things we've said we wanted to do but never got around to doing like... going to that beach resorttttt or my bungeeeeee.

Oh... and I still laugh out loud whenever I recall the time I was down with that monstrous fever and was asleep... and you placed your finger near my nose to ensure that I was breathing -_-''
Silly thing youuuu.

Right, I'm off to study for tomorrow's UT now...

Oh, and lastly...
I love you very, very much, Han
From Yesterday x 30 Seconds To Mars

Happy 20 sen Siti Suhailah Binte Sulaiman!

Enjoy your self-declared holiday today, sweets =)

AND REMEMBER MY BIRTHDAY WISH FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY!
I want them in say...a couple of months? *winks*

Dance Floor Anthem x Good Charlotte

Marquee Troupe II, Gamelan and FYP is killinggggg me.

Performances, rehearsals, exhibitions, meetings, meet-ups after meet-ups and programming after programming...
It gets really, really frustrating after awhile.

ARGHHH.

On a MUCH brighter note, Lala and I have been approached by an upcoming design company!
We're offered positions in it... ones that are not too bad, I suppose.
But nothing is confirmed yet, as the both of us aren't really sure about being tied down to one.
Really looking forward to that, though =)

Right.
I've got to get that Weekly Log done now.

Sleep well, good people.
