Sexy Chick x David Guetta Feat. Akon

I'm frazzled, a bit zoned out, in need of coffee.
I better not get addicted to that stuff, I tell you.

And while you all party like Rock Stars tomorrow at the different Halloween shindigs, I'll be sleeping for a few hours before getting back up and studying again 3 more times this week.

It'll all be over (for this semester, at least) come next, next Monday, the 9th of November.
Insyallah, I'll be feeling gratified.

My head's swimming and I have a thousand and one formulas + theories to memorize.
The joy of exams.
Yay-freaking-ness.

p.s. Thank you, Han, for making the day I turn 21, pure, pure bliss.
I think you're magic :)

Broken Hearted Girl x Beyonce

Aidilfitri came and went, well, for those of us who are finally done with visiting, of course.
According to Naz, it officially ends on the 20th of October.

I think it goes without saying that the days that I look forward most to during this entire holy month would be the first day of Syawal and the day my clique and I hit the roads to head to each others' houses.
In our best baju kurung and few inch heels, no less :)

Sheer, good fun!

The ladies and gents at my place.

Heading up and into Tina's home.

Tina's Dad: Awak suker tengok bola?
Han: *blank*
Tina: Dia Cina lah, ayah!
Tina's Dad: *did a double take and peered at Han's face*
You like soccer?

Idah's house, where we shifted most of the furniture around.
It felt to me like she was going to shift out!
Love the shots taken here :)

Waiting for the gents to finish their ciggs before heading up and into Di's place.
I had me some good ol' kacang phool - sunny side up egg, onions, green chilli and lime included.
The works!

And a photo of the double date gang.
Tina, can you say f-r-e-n-c-h f-r-i-e-s and 1-9-1-B?

At Linda's place where I think everyone went a little berserk after one too many glasses of sugary drinks.
We just had to attempt a couples' "10-shot" (shutter shots), but as seen above, we failed miserably.
The fun more than made up for it, though :)

With the convoy of 4 cars, we headed east to north to west...
I wouldn't change anything about that day, mishaps and all.
We ended on an exhausting, but high note, watching a couple of cars get $70 summon coupons slapped onto their windscreen, at Rain's place, slightly after midnight.
Its an understatement to say that I love my friends.

Next year, we'll have one more married couple added to our gang :)
Alhamdullilah.

Looking forward to planning and executing the Hen Night party!

Brighter than Sunshine x Aqualung

Of the parents' 22nd wedding anniversary.

Of Iftar with Han.

Of Iftar with Dila, Julie and Naz.

Of 500 ketupats and Syawal.

And of a random visit to a nenek who couldn't be happier.

" I have the tendency to do that; to blow things up to be bigger than they are. I look at the negatives, instead of the positives. And, I certainly don’t think anything through with logic. But, somehow you put up with that, and that amazes me on a daily basis. That even though I’m a nervous wreck half the time, you’re still here. "

someone brilliant just put in words another part of you that i'm eternally thankful for.

Meet Me Halfway x The Black Eyed Peas

With the month of Ramadhan amongst us, comes unexplainable, intolerable cravings, for me at least.
What I wouldn't do for a thick, ghee laden Roti Bomb.

This photo?
I'm craving for every single thing (and person) in it.
I want, I need.
In clockwise order: Han, Paper Prata, Butter Prata, Egg prata and ROTI BOMB, YO.

And on a totally random ending note...YOU, Spurs, how I wish that the league season is over now, with you at the top of the table.
If only it was... I'd print it out and hang it on my wall :)

Don't Trust Me x 3OH!3

NDP '09 with El, had me some good ol' neighbourly company :)
Literally.
Nothing like screaming like a bunch of teenyboppers and calling out Rain's name (like as if he could hear us from way over the floating stage), Kallang waves and singing national songs.

And you, I love more than yesterday and lesser than tomorrow.
Thank you, for everything.
More to come.

I believe that I kinda have this little blooming feeling for you.
It’s just that - you’re you.
You’re nice.
You’re what I’ve always wanted in a guy.

Do you think you’ll ever have feelings for me?

Gosh, is it me? Or is Jiaxuan leading onto something?

Or maybe it’s just me… Gosh girl.

Our train came at the exact same time… How perfect is that?

I played this little mind game before you stepped foot into the train…

I was chanting to myself over and over and over again…

“If he likes you, he’ll turn…If he likes you, he’ll turn… C’mon turn!”

I was looking at you through the reflection on the glass panels… and

You turned. Needless to say, my heart soared.

I know its dumb la… But I can’t help it…

Something I found, stowed away in a little folder on my laptop.
A little excerpt from the story of you and me.

Blogger's being a bitch.
As a certain someone would've said it with much exaggeration "Laaaast warning."

Indeed, it is.

Never Say Never x The Fray

Past few days had proven to be eventful.
And with the minor drama adding a little bit of spice to everyone's life, soap opera scenes suddenly doesn't seem to be so far fetched and ludicrous after all.

Thank God for the company I had throughout those dreadful days.
I wouldn't have survived it, any other way.

Own Time Own Target was spectacular, fantastic, hilarious, a must-watch.
We were a couple of high-on-laughter folks after the play ended.
The most well-spent $92.40 of the year!

4 hour long break was filled with lunch and The Haunting in Connecticut with W.L, Q.F, D and J at West Mall.
Not as scary as we'd thought it'll be, but bad enough to cause us to jump in our seats.
The boys' constant chanting of "Orh, scary part coming! Scary part coming!", did not help.
At all.

And of course, our beloved D turned 23 years young last month.
J and I almost died of walking looking for the perfect gift... but we did it!
Thank you, Sephora, for providing us with to-lust-for
sweet smelling scents and make-up thingamabobs.

Glad you loved it, D.
We love you!

On a totally random note, if there was one thing that I learned during these past few days was that, responsibility is not something you take lightly... or rather, are born with, in certain areas, during certain times.
Sometimes, its just thrown at you and when that happens, there's nothing you can do about it.
Swallow it up, take it in your stride, whatever.
I've always told myself - Do to others what you want others to do unto you.
Despite all the crap, I'm glad they came, for they taught me a really valuable lesson.
It may not be easy, not everyone would want to do it, but I vow and I swear I'll never let anything happen to my parents, my siblings or my own family, if I were to be granted one in the near/distant future.
I know where I came from, my parents raised me well and I'm never gonna forsake them.

Six Candles x FM Static

Here's to many, many, many more years of laughter, sharing, love and friendship ahead.
And Lala, you're so coming for the next one!
