RP Song That Never Ends x 100 odd RP seniors at today's mock FOP camp

Republic Polytechnic's Freshmen Orientation Programme(FOP) '07
11th to 13th April 2007

We're gonna welcome approximately 4000 freshies on that day.

1000 odd goes to SEG.
900 odd goes to SIT.
Another 900 odd goes to SAS.
Approximately 200 goes to SHL.
And the remaining 1000 odd are divided into STA, CIE and CCC.

So, the theme this year is "Prison Break".
Annnnd... instead of the differently designed RP short sleeved "dri-fit" tees/polos that they come up with for just about any event...

we have to wear dark blue jumpsuits

Yes.
JUMPSUITS.
Like the ones Scoffield, Sucre and all of them stole, bleached and wore to break into the psych ward so they could break out of Fox River.
They allowed us to spray praint and stencil them to make it look "cooler"...
But still!?

Are you kidding me, RP?!

Oh.
There's a mass dance too....
We're gonna jig to "Jailhouse Rock".
A rock 'n' roll number where everyone ends up doing their own steps instead of the choreographed ones.
Is it me or are they taking the whole prison theme a tad too far?

There's also an RP War Cry.
Done with the same actions and angst you find in the All Blacks' Haka before they murder their opponents.
*faints*

Run The Yard aka Scavenger Hunt which covers the entire campus...
Meaning I'll be running around with say... 30 odd freshies who don't know each other?
The Republic Cultural Centre to the Sports Complex to the One-Stop Centre... you get the point.

The Game Plan aka Telematch at the indoor sports hall if it rains.... the soccer pitch if it doesn't.
The chaos. *spasms*

And FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY, on the evening of 13th April.
We're ending with a splendid Jam & Hop happening all the way till late night.

Oh god.
I'm so not ready for the pandemonium, the cheering, the screaming and the going bonkers.

What did I get myself into!?
