Wonderwall x Oasis

Finally, finally, finaaaaalllly, the long overdued outing with my beautiful ladies was fulfilled, a few Fridays back.
4 platters of really tender, succulent fish, a hilarious movie after dinner and gal pals just talking, laughing, reminiscing and rejoicing within the cosy circle.
Zann's Norwegian Salmon and Lala's Fish & Chips.

Linda's Grilled Platter for One and my Flamed Platter for One.
Totally delicioso. *smacks lips*

Thank you for the chocolates,Zann, and thank you, ladies, for the laughter, the recalling back of the panic attacks during both FYP and for sharing and laughing over things that only we 4 "Dabus" understand.
Group huddle!

Anndddddddddd, I can't wait for Saturday's events. *does a jig*

Breakin' Dishes x Rihanna

My weekend was wondeeerrrrrfuuuuuuuulllllllllllllllllllly spent with my two favourite Zulu warriors.
Saturday evening was spent with Rain and my Sunday & Monday was filled with lotsa TLC with my one and only.

So, on Saturday, Rain and I finally went to catch Avenue Q!!

It was awesomeeeeeee.
Funny, brilliant, witty with just the right amount of dirty in it.
We were laughing from the moment it started all the way till the cast and puppets took their curtain call.
We managed to satisfy ourselves with more than 10 pieces of our favourite gourmet chocolates
before heading to the Esplanade.
Also, Mr. Rain managed to grab himself an Avenue Q tee, from NUM's limited edition line, with the title of his favourite song from the show; "It Sucks To Be Me".
So, as you can tell, everybody was a winner at the end of the day =D

Sunday came and I happily bounced off bed the moment Mr. Sun made his entrance.
After (another) 2 loooooong and painful weeks, I was contented just sitting next to him in the bus.
Headed to Beach Road for some good ol' Indian dishes and to look for army stuff.

Then, as if we (okay, I) weren't full enough.
The boy wanted to go for the strudels that I raved about while he was in field camp.

Apple and Durian strudels for the both of us.
No other place does strudels like these - flaky, light and oh-so-good.
It just hits every single taste bud in the most spectacular way possible, the filling inside - cool and buttery... (and I can go on and on and on).
And we thought that a "slice" would be small, but boy, were we wrong.
A "slice" was more like a third of the entire strudel loaf.
Totally worth it.

I know you are in dire need of a massage, especially after field camp...
So, the next time we head out, we'll pay dear Ah Wong a visit, yea?
I'm pretty sure he still remembers us, love.

Right.
Alas, we all know that my exams are over and done with.
Hence, I'm kept busy with work and other random stuff.
Just to name a few...

1) Fixing hairdos on the display bears in the store.

2) Taking care of my butterfly.

Back to work tomorrow after 1 day of rest after 7 straight days of non-stop working.
Thank God I adore what I do
.

p.s. To my three favourite ladies, I can't wait to finally meet up this Friday!

Please Don't Stop The Rain x James Morrison

With the finals over, it spells f-r-e-e-d-o-m for my girls and me =D
So, off we went to get a dosage of good old retail therapy.
Got us some shoes, perfumes and all that good stuff... and we ended the day with a couple of drinks, with our bottoms secured on extremely plush seats.
It was THE bomb.

Again, again!

And, YOU....

Don't Look Away x Joshua Radin

Taken on the second day of the eleventh month of year two thousand and eight.

'Twas the last day that I met my soldier boy before he goes off for field camp = 2 weeks confinement starting from this week = lots of live/dummy grenade throws = 6 days of killing imaginary enemies in the forest.

Amidst the major cramming for the Macroeconomics paper (which took place today and was KILLER. argh) and preparing for 2 weeks confinement in camp(again) we both managed to squeezed some time to play a little bit of soccer with the not-so-little-but-now-doubly-adorable Rifqy, before the 3 of us proceeded down to send Han onto the bus and on his way to gather with his fellow comrades-in-arms.

Sigh.

On a much, much brighter note, the papers for both Marketing Principals and Macroeconomics are over and done with... but everyone knows the real war begins on Monday.
Accounts paper.
Urgh, the evil that is Maths, how I despise you.

edit/
i love the fact that you still write me letters... and seal and send 'em in envelopes.
and, i think its incredible, that someone i find so unforgettable, thinks that i'm unforgettable too.
i can't wait to see you.

Finals.
One paper down, two more to go.

Can't wait for it to be over.
