Goodnight Goodnight x Maroon 5

Been quite a busybee as of late.
A short update:

1) Han's posted to a Sea Soldier vocation, and I've no clue what it's about, but words such as "Frontline" and "If terrorists were to come attack Singapore, they'll see your faces first", doesn't ease my heart very much.

2) Am still working 6 days shift, and Singaporeans go craaaaaaaazyyyy in Build-A-Bear Workshop during X'mas.

3) You know how people have weird habits to kick the worries and stress away? Things like reading, or taking a nap? Well, I found out that mine is Intensive Cleaning and Clearing Up : / I guess, the need to feel in control of something leads to the need of cleaning up for me.

4) And lastly, as of now and forevermore, I shall order only Fish&Chips whenever I dine at Fish & Co. Period. No more being adventurous or taking risks.

Enjoy the day off! =)

Circus x Britney Spears

The past week and this week were/are going to be eventful.

Have been and will be spending my off days with my a couple of my most favourite people.

Had a big family dinner + 1(the being who Mum claims is my "handbag"), kudos to Dad's bonus.

Took Rifqy to the playground for the last time, cos he's shifting all the way to Yishun (BOO!).

And of course, (as we now know), went to Han's & Rain's Passing Out Ceremony.
Meeting his folk was way, way, wayyyyyyyyy more nerve wrecking than waiting for my exams results.
But all went well (I hope!), and his dad being really, really warm and nice to me really, really helped.
Phew.

Also, cooked Sutchi fillet fish and chips with butter mashed potatoes for Han.
Like, finally.
That totals up the menu to:
1) Beef noodle soup
2) Butter cookies
3) Double choc chip cookies
4) Cake (Don't remember what type, though)
5) Butter fried rice
6) Vege fried rice
7) Ham & eggs with chocolate butter bun...
8) Maggi goreng (LOL)
9) Stir fried vegetables with rice
10) All my hari raya goodies
and sumpah, aku tak ingat lagi...

And of course, the remaining days left were contributed to b/e/a/r building, which is not as fun as it should be because you're tired and cranky, cos you work six days a week.
However, the thought of the money that's gonna make its way into the account at the end of the month, keeps me going, full steam ahead.

Shopping with Rain tomorrow.
And then, with Han the day after.
Can't wait, seriously.

Oh, the joy that is gift vouchers =)
Its like going into shops and coming out with free stuff (which are literally what vouchers are for, anyways).
Come, gimme, gimme moreee!

Cater To You x Destiny's Child

When the whistle blows
Silence everywhere
And the flag goes up
In the battalion square
Soldiers all around
Never let you down
Cos we are the best
In the SAF

So echo, echo out loud,

Zulu warriors marching in and out (yah!).
So echo, echo out loud,
Zulu warriors never let you down (yah!).

I'm so proud of you
And I could tell your parents were too =)

Right Now (Na Na Na) x Akon

Results were released wayyyyyyyy earlier than expected.

Imagine waking up to an excited friend on the phone, at 11 am, on your only day off from work and hearing,
"SHIKIN! RESULTS RELEASED ALREADY! GO SEE!".

I was a nervous wreck as I logged onto the school's site.
And the results that greeted me, made me breathe a HUUUUGEEEE sigh of relief and needless to say, I started screaming for my mother who was ecstatic upon knowing I made it through, with results that I'm more than satisfied with.

Alhamdulillah.
Phew.
The first of five burdens are released.

Night soon came and I got ready for the Build-A-Bear Workshop's Annual Dinner.
Needless to say, we all partied like rockstars =D
Images up as soon as I get my paws on 'em.

Thanks to those who believed in me, for the non-stop encouragement and for pushing me to do my best.
I'm eternally grateful.

YAY!

Lollipop x Three Six Mafia

Finals results are gonna be released this coming Thursday, at 5pm.
Needless to say, I've been having panic attacks for the past 2 weeks.
Non-stop, sudden and uncalled for panic attacks, to be exact.

I AM SO STRESSED/SCARED/PARANOID/WORRIED... and all that bad stuff.

Han's POP-ing 6 days after that.
By then, I'll know my results... so I'm anticipating whether I'll be bawling like a baby or celebrating like a lunatic alongside him.

I'm in a desperate need of a va-ca-tion.

p.s. Happy 33rd. I love only you.

Wonderwall x Oasis

Finally, finally, finaaaaalllly, the long overdued outing with my beautiful ladies was fulfilled, a few Fridays back.
4 platters of really tender, succulent fish, a hilarious movie after dinner and gal pals just talking, laughing, reminiscing and rejoicing within the cosy circle.
Zann's Norwegian Salmon and Lala's Fish & Chips.

Linda's Grilled Platter for One and my Flamed Platter for One.
Totally delicioso. *smacks lips*

Thank you for the chocolates,Zann, and thank you, ladies, for the laughter, the recalling back of the panic attacks during both FYP and for sharing and laughing over things that only we 4 "Dabus" understand.
Group huddle!

Anndddddddddd, I can't wait for Saturday's events. *does a jig*

Breakin' Dishes x Rihanna

My weekend was wondeeerrrrrfuuuuuuuulllllllllllllllllllly spent with my two favourite Zulu warriors.
Saturday evening was spent with Rain and my Sunday & Monday was filled with lotsa TLC with my one and only.

So, on Saturday, Rain and I finally went to catch Avenue Q!!

It was awesomeeeeeee.
Funny, brilliant, witty with just the right amount of dirty in it.
We were laughing from the moment it started all the way till the cast and puppets took their curtain call.
We managed to satisfy ourselves with more than 10 pieces of our favourite gourmet chocolates
before heading to the Esplanade.
Also, Mr. Rain managed to grab himself an Avenue Q tee, from NUM's limited edition line, with the title of his favourite song from the show; "It Sucks To Be Me".
So, as you can tell, everybody was a winner at the end of the day =D

Sunday came and I happily bounced off bed the moment Mr. Sun made his entrance.
After (another) 2 loooooong and painful weeks, I was contented just sitting next to him in the bus.
Headed to Beach Road for some good ol' Indian dishes and to look for army stuff.

Then, as if we (okay, I) weren't full enough.
The boy wanted to go for the strudels that I raved about while he was in field camp.

Apple and Durian strudels for the both of us.
No other place does strudels like these - flaky, light and oh-so-good.
It just hits every single taste bud in the most spectacular way possible, the filling inside - cool and buttery... (and I can go on and on and on).
And we thought that a "slice" would be small, but boy, were we wrong.
A "slice" was more like a third of the entire strudel loaf.
Totally worth it.

I know you are in dire need of a massage, especially after field camp...
So, the next time we head out, we'll pay dear Ah Wong a visit, yea?
I'm pretty sure he still remembers us, love.

Right.
Alas, we all know that my exams are over and done with.
Hence, I'm kept busy with work and other random stuff.
Just to name a few...

1) Fixing hairdos on the display bears in the store.

2) Taking care of my butterfly.

Back to work tomorrow after 1 day of rest after 7 straight days of non-stop working.
Thank God I adore what I do
.

p.s. To my three favourite ladies, I can't wait to finally meet up this Friday!

Please Don't Stop The Rain x James Morrison

With the finals over, it spells f-r-e-e-d-o-m for my girls and me =D
So, off we went to get a dosage of good old retail therapy.
Got us some shoes, perfumes and all that good stuff... and we ended the day with a couple of drinks, with our bottoms secured on extremely plush seats.
It was THE bomb.

Again, again!

And, YOU....

Don't Look Away x Joshua Radin

Taken on the second day of the eleventh month of year two thousand and eight.

'Twas the last day that I met my soldier boy before he goes off for field camp = 2 weeks confinement starting from this week = lots of live/dummy grenade throws = 6 days of killing imaginary enemies in the forest.

Amidst the major cramming for the Macroeconomics paper (which took place today and was KILLER. argh) and preparing for 2 weeks confinement in camp(again) we both managed to squeezed some time to play a little bit of soccer with the not-so-little-but-now-doubly-adorable Rifqy, before the 3 of us proceeded down to send Han onto the bus and on his way to gather with his fellow comrades-in-arms.

Sigh.

On a much, much brighter note, the papers for both Marketing Principals and Macroeconomics are over and done with... but everyone knows the real war begins on Monday.
Accounts paper.
Urgh, the evil that is Maths, how I despise you.

edit/
i love the fact that you still write me letters... and seal and send 'em in envelopes.
and, i think its incredible, that someone i find so unforgettable, thinks that i'm unforgettable too.
i can't wait to see you.

Sunday, November 02, 2008

Finals.
One paper down, two more to go.

Can't wait for it to be over.

You Make It Real x James Morrison

Two BIG candles on the birthday cake symbolized a new coming of age for me.
When the clock struck midnight on the 26th of October '08, I turned...

20!
(*insert "in-denial" face here*)

The boy and I went out early in the morning, to celebrate what he called "The Biggest Event of The Year" *rolls eyes*
We strolled through town to head for the birthday lunch at Carousel.
For $60++ per person, we indulged in lobsters, scallops, crème brûlée, tiramisu, white/dark chocolate mousse with macaroons... and so muchhh mooore *pats bloated tummy*

And during the course of our meal, he handed each of my gifts, starting with the handwritten letter, followed by the rest of the wrapped packages, one at a time.
Sweet, yes? *beams*

What made this year's birthday extra special was that I got me 2 birthday cakes!

The first cake was a surprise from Ms. Tina, a day before my birthday, the day the poly peeps and 3 cars ventured out for the grand-finale-visiting trip of Aidilfitri '08.
Thanks, you guys... Really sweeeeeeeeeet =)

And the other cake, was really significant to me.
Something that I'll remember for years to come.
Han, apparently, was roped in for the surprise that my family planned.
When I saw him coming out from the kitchen, into the darkened (BLACKOUT, MY FOOT!) living room, with my family and friends belting out the birthday song (with Rain echoing the last 2 words to each sentence, loudly), I burst into tears.
Hahaha *blissful sigh*

So, with birthdays...
COME PRESENTS!

Thank you love, for the gourmet chocolates,Lava lamp (not in picture), Baby Blues Treasury (my favourite comic!), the 'You Are So Beautiful' wind up gadget, Swarovski earrings and vintage tee.
Thank you, Tina & Yat, Lan & Lala, Diana & Zaid, Rain, Asri, Hida and Marianah for the laughter, the pictures, the memories and the singing of birthday songs x 2 and the birthday cake!
Thank you friends and family for the special birthday text messages, calls and tags.
Thank you, little sister, for the Wish perfume.
Thank you, little brother, for the Sembonia wallet.
And thank you, to my ever loving parents, for the Guess handbag, for the efforts, for the support in everything I do and for accepting my choices in life and love.

The love I feel for all of you and from all of you, is beyond measuring =)

How did we end my first day of being a 20 year old?

We spent some quality time with two of our favourite little people =D
Seeing Rifqy warm up to Han, Trisha looking up to him from his arms and the pure bliss on Han's face, was the best gift of them all.
Something warm for me to hold onto, for a long, long time.

Alas, that was my 20th =)
I guess I've gotta learn to embrace this new age and finally let go of the "I'm Forever 19" mantra.

So what if my age for the next 10 years will begin with the digit "2"?
For, right now, with my loved ones around me, I'm loving it!

Break Even x The Script

The past 2 weeks have been pretty fulfilling.

Despite the stress and tension from school, what with the finals around the corner, we managed to take a break and indulge in a little retail therapy...
To town for dresses, wedges and cute, plaid printed tanks.
To Bugis for gladiator sandals and maxi dresses.

(Fulfilled our last shopping trip before we mug hard and smart for our finals, which will be over in the next 2 weeks *crosses fingers*)
[Note: Girl with bangs - NOT Classmate]

And due to the exams, I took a 2 week study break from work and I MISS EVERYONEEEEEEE!

(One of the photos the BearBuilders took for the BABW International Magazine.)

On a final note...
...the 25th is almost here!
The long awaited jalan raya (yes, late, we know) trip with the poly mates is just 2 days away =)
Can't wait to meet up... and let's just hope there won't be any major hiccups along the way.
Insyallah.

And as much as I'm starting to hate the a/r/m/y, Han's booking out tooommmmooorrrooow =D
I can't wait for the weekend!

Now, back to more studying... *insert depressed face here*

When I Look To The Sky x Train

Gotta stop taking things for granted.
Gotta appreciate what's mine right now.
Gotta realise that he's really giving more than me in this thing.

Because it seems that everyone around me sees the significance and beauty in this relationship.

And because, a friend said to me, "He's a keeper."
And because, trust me when I say this, because I know I don't want life without him.

Magic x Robin Thicke

Exams riggght around the bend...
And out of the 3 modules I'm taking this semester, I'm only confident of my Marketing Principles and Macroeconomics.
Accounting? Not so.

Problem is, when sitting through accounting lectures, I actually fully understand what's going on... but when I do my revision back home, I can't seem to grasp the concept... I don't know what went wrong.

But I'm sure I'll do well enough to not have to repeat this semester's modules...
Right?

Insyallah.

p.s Thanks, love. For being the sweetest angel in the world... made me smile like a fool, all alone in the bus =)

Love Song x The Cure

Need you here to twirl a lock of my hair aimlessly as we walk, talk or sit.
Need you here to give me that very same smile, first thing every time you see me.
Need you here to pinch my nose when you think I'm not listening to you when you're talking.
Need you here to give me that grin each time we end up wearing our Everlasts together, unplanned.

I just... simply need you here.

Sigh...

Dendang Perantau x P. Ramlee

Salam Idulfitri to all my Muslim mates!
May the good that we've done during the month of Ramadhan bring us fruitful rewards.

For all the past, present and possibly future mistakes that I have committed/ might commit, unknowingly or on purpose, I seek forgiveness with the sincerest of apologies, with all of my heart.

Enjoy the holidays =)
And to my loved ones, can't wait to get together sometime soon and gorge on the festive goodies.

Love,
Skin.

Beat It x Fall Out Boy

Pre-enlistee - The day before Tekong.
Trimmed a bit of hair off.

Recruit - 2 weeks after Tekong.
Ayeeee, Botak!

And to think that I was worried about you looking skinnier and awkward with no hair when you went to NS.

Hoho, was I wrong.
A good, glowing tan, a little bit of additional weight on you and with just a little bit of hair on your head - and I've fallen stupid for you all over again by just looking at you for the first time, after two weeks.

And now, I want need to meet our new Abang Rain-Bo(tak).
I miss you and I need our retail therapy before exams starts =(

And finally,.....

BESOK RAYA!

On Fire x Switchfoot

Because we wanted to experience the F1 nice race, and were deafened by it.

Because fun is free, but those Aldo bags sure as hell were nowhere near free.
Because "When the boyfriends are away, we are single" - Dila.
Because Marketing Principles lecture sucked our brains dry.
And simply because we wanted to =)

Next on our agenda; Themed-dressed-up-shopping!

p.s. "Baby, I'm booking out at 1700 hours on Sunday" were the exact words I needed to hear to end this already pretty perfect day =)

I'm elated, ecstatic, over the moon.

Monsoon x Tokio Hotel

Raya mode kinda struck me pretty early this year.

The obsession with revamping my room started as early as when I started to pay back all my "hutang puasa" days during really late July- early August.
Thankfully for me, I *successfully* managed to convince Dad to paint my room Spectrum Red before Ramadhan commences =)
That action, triggered off my Dad's "need to paint more" mode which eventually resulted in him painting all the rooms in the house - minus the kitchen, because the walls there are tiled.
Thank God for the invention of odourless paints -_-

Aaaand thankfully for me, my Audrey Hepburn poster arrived in Singapore before the start of September, meaning that I can hang it up before Raya.
I'm soooooo glad I waited because I... just really fancy her in that pose - and that pose, ALONE.
A great big thanks to my two favourite boys, Han and Rain for braving IKEA with me, on that bright and sunny Monday morning, the week before heading off to NS, for lugging my 70cm by 100cm frame, candles and picture frames all the way back home AND for sticking around for the next couple of hours to cut and fit the border into the frame for the poster, while I sit around, trying (albeit, failing) to make myself useful.

What would I do without the both of you?!?

Dust and clear out room - Check.
Put photos into frames - Check.
Hang poster - Check.
Long, sheer, light coloured curtains - By Saturday? (Hopefully)
New magazine rack - WHY WHY WHY is it so difficult to get a magazine rack?? I mean of ALL the things?!

Okay, need to sleep, now.

Monday, September 22, 2008

I'm Yours x Jason Mraz

Sunday, please come faster.

I'm gonna sleep as early as I can and wake up real late, so that even though half the day's gone, I'll have lesser hours to pass till Mr. Freshly Botak-ed comes back home.

I've got so much to tell you that I'm afraid I'll forget the funny ones when we finally can meet up.
And I need you to laugh, shake your head, give a "tsk" at the correct parts, like you always do.

These past 8 days had by far been the longest 8 days of my life.

I'm gonna kill some time now by heading down to the mall and go get my hair trimmed and layered again... and maybe try something new? (If I'm not chicken enough, that is.)
But like Han said, "Don't cut too short, okay?"
Okay, I won't.

Faster come homeeeeeeeeeeeeee =(

Forever x Chris Brown

Recession happens every (approx) 13 years, so, yes, the government had long suspected it.
They're brutal about how they go about trying to "fix" it but certainly not dumb.
Suck it up because the worst ain't even here yet.
Give it another 2-3 years and we can finally bask in the full "glory" of the recession.

On a MUCH brighter note...
Spurs FINALLY won something.

Darren Bent's winner proved to be the difference in a closely-fought UEFA Cup first round first leg tie against Wisla Krakow at White Hart Lane."

We will NOT, I repeat, NOT NOT NOT, be relegated this season or anytime soon.
We're just off to a teeny bad start.

To dare is to do.

Lastly, I've puked 9 times in the past 24 hours.
Every thing that goes in comes right back out.
It gets so tiring & troublesome that I gave up trying to eat altogether.

Thunder x Boys Like Girls

We're spending the last few days we have together before he answers the Nation's call as MUCH as we can.

Doing things we never did before, like going for that rather painful but beneficial and extremely fascinating leg massage at Kenko and just walking about aimlessly, trying to get out as much as we can from the few days we have left.

But it would prove non beneficial because the moment I step into my house and he steps into the lift, the longing starts.

What was most significant to me during the past few days was how he showed that he was just as scared as I was about this, but just as sure as I am that we'll get through this.

"YOU will get me through this...", he said.

We survived my going to Thailand for 17 days, with practically no communication (cos there was no reception in the village) and thousands of miles apart... what's 2 weeks? =)

I know my dad will keep checking on him and report stuff daily back to me, just like he said he would (NOT a good thing, trust me).

Heading out to the shops together, to get the stuff he needs from his list, brings calmness to me... like I realised that it wasn't really much of a biggie...

But it was when he headed for the photo printing shop at the end of the day, and told me he wanted to print pictures of us and Rifqy so that he can see us everyday that made me realise that :
1) His voice is the soundtrack to my everydays
2) His calmness is my reassurance
3) His presence gives me closure

He isn't even enlisted yet and I already can't wait for the 2 weeks to be over.

Cookie Jar x Gym Class Heroes

When did the time pass me by?
I just need the days to pass by a little slower =(
It's moving too fast.

All I wanna do is hit restart, pause it at my favourite parts and skip all the goodbyes.

Dear Diary x Britney Spears

I'd rather have bad days with you, than good days with someone else...
I'd rather be beside you in the hurricane, than be safe and cosy by myself...
I'd rather have hard times together, than easy times apart...
I'd rather have nothing with you, than have everything with anyone else...
I'd rather walk a 1000 miles with you, than sit comfortably in a car with another man...

It's overwhelming how strongly I feel about this thing we share.
It's amazing how I keep falling over and over again, not because of your sweet words, but because of how sincere, thoughtful, understanding, protective (and I can go on and on) and how you put me above self.

I just hope I can be just as good for you.
I'll never be ready to let go, we'll do whatever it takes... and I don't care what others might say about us, because I know I've got me the good stuff =)

I fell for who you were back then, I thank you for not changing a single bit.

I know you know what I'm going to say next, but I'm gonna save everyone from the mushiness and call you now to tell you instead...

Heee.
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend.

Seven Years x Saosin

1st day of September 2008.

Today, marks the first day of Ramadhan =)
Today, marks our 2.5 years together =)

Tomorrow, I have an Econs test =(
In 14 days, Han is off to NS =(
In 14 days, Rain will be off to NS TOO =(

On a slightly brighter note, I'll be seeing Han 14 days after that, amidst all the kuih raya, lontong and F&N/Mirinda/Coke etc etc... =D

Black & Gold x Sam Sparro

Us at Graduation Ceremony 2008.

Got it from Rain who I believe got it from one of his teachers from an MOE magazine (I think).
We're famous!! (well, kinda).

Stole this months ago from Zann's blog... but never got around to publishing it.
I can see me, Asri and many other familiar faces, in our graduation robes.
*Photo credited to Zann's brother =)

Never thought I'd miss RP this much.
Weird.

Today, at school, I saw some of the SIM-RMIT graduating students.
Watching them, made me reaaaaaaaallllly wanna go strive for that degree, just so that my parents can see me put on a graduation robe WITH a mortarboard come 30 December 2010.

I really want this.

Cookie Jar x Gym Class Heroes Stress:
- difficulty or hardship that induces extreme emotional tension.

School's slowly starting to take a toll on my stress endurance level.
Projects and upcoming exams are just around the bend and I know I've got to: step it up a notch, pull up my socks and *insert here whatever other phrases that has the "you need to buck up" connotation*.

I wouldn't even wish for a re-module because they're a bloody waste of time and money.

That aside, the past 2 days with Mr. Han were particularly lovely=)
Late night 20-minute-walk-me-home moments when there's no one else out in the streets is THE antidote to the stressful soul.

Now, back to reading those bloody tutorial solutions.
None of the words are making sense at this hour, but hey, at least I'm TRYING.

In the meantime... CLICK!

Whatever It Takes x Lifehouse

Our first ever trip to the not so famous(yet) Ann Siang Hill caused the both of us to be drenched in our own sweat after the first 5 minutes.

Not being able to locate where it was initially meant that; we passed by the red dot museum more than once, walked pass the entire span of the URA building and stroll by all the pretty shop houses that lined the road.

With Han's new Vivitar in hand, we attempted to shoot photos we thought would look good when printed, but that remains to be confirmed as we haven't even gotten through the first roll of film yet.
So NOT used to not being able to view the shots after snapping it.

I just hope Ann Siang Hill won't turn into a hot spot such as Arab Street.
Part of the beauty of that place was how secluded and matrep-free it was.

On a final note, skipped my first lecture yesterday (couldn't face the sun, sky and notes) and school starts at 2 pm tomorrow (read: I get to sleep in!).

And and and BPL's kicking off again =)
Go Spurs!

My Heroine x Silverstein

"There is no law, cultural/religious reasons as to why a man has to spend a few months worth of salary to get a rock, to put on a woman's finger when he asks her to marry him. This gentlemen, we can blame on the effects of marketing."

"A marketer doesn't sell a bed, he/she sells a good night's sleep. A marketer doesn't sell insurance policies, he/she sells security and a peace of mind...."

I swear I can go on and on and even though it seems like I've been brainwashed beyond repair, I'm thoroughly enjoying my lectures.

Buuuuuuutttt... on the NOT so bright side, there's 2 lecture sessions tomorrow.

Can anyone spell "Information Overload"?

Monday, August 04, 2008

When I Grow Up x The Pussycat Dolls

School starts tomorrow.
2 pm - 5 pm : Marketing Principles, Dr. Con Stavros (Lecture Theatre1-03).

Thanks to all for the extremely encouraging words.
I'd like to believe I'm finally FULLY ready.

Take A Bow x Rihanna

Last week was pretty power packed.. a
nd even though most of it was due to work, it was so totally worth it, because pay comes in any day now =)

On one of two from the now seemingly few off days I managed to secure, I woke up as early as 5.30 a.m. to get ready for my island getaway with my two ladies, Ms. Lala & Ms. Linda.

Linda said and I quote, "Ohmygawd... I bought all this with only 150 Sing dollars!? I could only get maybe 2 Dorothy Perkins tops back home!" *big grin breaks out on face*

We shopped blazed through 4 big malls in 12 hours, got everything we needed wanted and hopped back on the ferry back home.
We bought so much stuff it's a surprise we managed to keep ourselves within budget.

The
pièce de résistance of the day?

A hearty meal at A&W, complete with strawberry and ice cream waffles, 3 huge jugs of Root Beer Floats and the works.

We got back to Singapore about 5 minutes shy from 11pm

On the off day I got before the island getaway, Mr. Rain and I went on out to do what broke people will do : window shop, hop on the free Funvee open top bus to Singapore Flyer and indulge on a fanfreakingtastic meal at Popeye's.

On Funvee... forget about splurging money on Hippo tours, this, my friend, is FREE.

At flyer... which I'm half hearted to take, because it takes so damn bloody long to get off ride and everyone I know said it's pretty "mendak" (read: humdrum).

After Popeye's, taking a look at the Build A Bear Workshop there and generally planning what we would buy with our next pay, we hopped on home, more broke than ever, but happy.

This week, come Friday, Han and I will be spending our last monthsary before Ramadhan comes around and before he spends 1 year 11 months of his life serving the Nation.
This Friday, it's gotta be special.
This Friday, marks the end of the 7 month vacation period I got, because come Monday, I'm a full time student again.

I'm ready.
