Starstrukk x 3OH!3 Feat. Katy Perry

Been working my butt off, weekends burnt, social life depleting and the man in my life bearing the brunt of my complaints.

Next month's paycheck better be (and Insyallah, will be) the shizz, I tell ya.

As for now, I'm gonna work my heart and soul away, dealing with grumpy adults and their children, right before school starts.
You keep throwing that temper and bossiness about and your daughter will grow up doing the same to you, you old hag.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

But, ah yes, the unexplainable feeling that I get from the smiles of appreciative guests and hugs from little toddlers who are toooooo cute for words, keeps me sane and rooted to this part-time job of mine.

Gonna plan New Year's Eve and New Year's properly this year, no excuses.
With H and friends, or whoever, we'll see what we'll come up with.

And Rainnnnnnnnn, I smell a shopping spree right around the corner.
Let's go!!

May 2010 bring us all many opportunities and the ability to steer ourselves smoothly out the obstacles ahead.
Amin.

p.s. Fulham vs Spurs "Oh when the Spurs, comes marching in..." Everybody, now!

Abusadora x Wisin & Yandel

Oh, 4 floors of Forever 21 at 313 @ Somerset, please open your heavenly doors so I could stroke the materials of your gorgeous pieces of perfection
, run my fingers through your little trinkets and buy me some bad-ass, seamless, super dark blue jeans.

I Can Transform You x Chris Brown Feat. Lil Wayne

*cue choir of angelic voices*
...., for now.
Clearing this semester's 4 modules is such a relief beyond belief.
I can now focus on how we're gonna celebrate the coming of 2010, with zilch worries, till semester starts again on the 4th of January.

Final 2 semesters, to that much needed piece of paper, called a degree.
Sigh, the demanding cycle that is the Singapore education system.

Well, Mum has always said time and again, you wanna start something, you give it your all and end it well.
So, here's to hardcore enjoying and doing mindless things, till the cycle starts again! *toasts my cup of iced Milo*

I Will Be x Avril Lavigne

Exams are finally over and I can finally breathe - and clear up this relatively dusty, empty space.

Many things happened over the past few weeks but heck, I'm highlighting the more significant ones in this humble (albeit dying) blog of mine.

First thing on the agenda :
My parents threw me a surprise 21st bbq!
I should've known -_-
Mum's been bugging and bugging me excessively about throwing a bash, but I've been adamant about it.

I just don't feel like throwing one.
So heck, she threw one for me!

17th October '09, Saturday.
Changi Beach.

Thank you, ibu and babah, I'm so blessed to have such loving and supportive parents.
To my cuzzies, I sooooo love my 21 presents from all of you! There's actually 22, I counted!!
To my best buds, Rain and my gorgeous girlie girl, Linda, thank you for coming, I love you guys :)
To Putra Rifqy Luelza and Putri Cinta Zatrisha, you babies are my (and Han's) number one weaknesses. Please don't grow up too quickly.
To my grandfolks from both sides, thank you for the ka-ching, moga dimurahkan rezeki dan dikurniakan kesihatan selalu.
To my siblings, aunts, uncles, cousin-in-laws, cousins, Babah's WO friends and those who came, thank you so much, for everything.

Next on my list:
Even though H couldn't make it for the party (due to the bane of my existence called NS), he more than made up for it by treating me like a queen on the day I turned 21.

26th October '09, Monday.
Out and about Singapore.

Thank you baby, for the gorgeous hand drawn card, 9 stalk blooms, the birthday cookie, the nail spa voucher and the agnès b. wallet.
And for being such a sweetheart since the day we were classmates till today.
In us, we trust.

And, the third and ending note to this entry:
10th to 11th November '09, Tuesday to Wednesday.
Slumber Party @Bencoolen

It was our way of letting off steam, kicking it together in our most comfortable clothes, with no make-up and stuffing our faces with the likes of Pringles, hot dog buns, double cheeseburgers, potato chips, Sinalco and Sarsaparillas.
We had goodie bags for each of us - filled with pretty lip glosses, soaps, nail buffers and all things girly.

But of course, not before we plastered our faces with make-up, courtesy of D and curls, courtesy of... me!
Well, curls for the rest and straightened hair for me, since we decided to switch up.

Please endure our vainpot poses and such.
We're girls, its what we do.

Thank you babes, for making our slumber party a night to remember.
We totally deserved it after what the exams put us through.
Pfft.
More to come.
And I'm still stroking the birthday present you ladies got me, its preeettttttttttyyyyyyyy :)

Besides the above 3, the highlights of the few months back included the Style magazine invite-only fashion show and "The Hills" outing with Rain, Rain's "Geek in the Blue" 21st party, movie dates with H and a couple more I can't remember.

As hectic as this end of year will be, I wouldn't want it any other way.
I'm loving life!
Alhamdullilah.

Sexy Chick x David Guetta Feat. Akon

I'm frazzled, a bit zoned out, in need of coffee.
I better not get addicted to that stuff, I tell you.

And while you all party like Rock Stars tomorrow at the different Halloween shindigs, I'll be sleeping for a few hours before getting back up and studying again 3 more times this week.

It'll all be over (for this semester, at least) come next, next Monday, the 9th of November.
Insyallah, I'll be feeling gratified.

My head's swimming and I have a thousand and one formulas + theories to memorize.
The joy of exams.
Yay-freaking-ness.

p.s. Thank you, Han, for making the day I turn 21, pure, pure bliss.
I think you're magic :)

Broken Hearted Girl x Beyonce

Aidilfitri came and went, well, for those of us who are finally done with visiting, of course.
According to Naz, it officially ends on the 20th of October.

I think it goes without saying that the days that I look forward most to during this entire holy month would be the first day of Syawal and the day my clique and I hit the roads to head to each others' houses.
In our best baju kurung and few inch heels, no less :)

Sheer, good fun!

The ladies and gents at my place.

Heading up and into Tina's home.

Tina's Dad: Awak suker tengok bola?
Han: *blank*
Tina: Dia Cina lah, ayah!
Tina's Dad: *did a double take and peered at Han's face*
You like soccer?

Idah's house, where we shifted most of the furniture around.
It felt to me like she was going to shift out!
Love the shots taken here :)

Waiting for the gents to finish their ciggs before heading up and into Di's place.
I had me some good ol' kacang phool - sunny side up egg, onions, green chilli and lime included.
The works!

And a photo of the double date gang.
Tina, can you say f-r-e-n-c-h f-r-i-e-s and 1-9-1-B?

At Linda's place where I think everyone went a little berserk after one too many glasses of sugary drinks.
We just had to attempt a couples' "10-shot" (shutter shots), but as seen above, we failed miserably.
The fun more than made up for it, though :)

With the convoy of 4 cars, we headed east to north to west...
I wouldn't change anything about that day, mishaps and all.
We ended on an exhausting, but high note, watching a couple of cars get $70 summon coupons slapped onto their windscreen, at Rain's place, slightly after midnight.
Its an understatement to say that I love my friends.

Next year, we'll have one more married couple added to our gang :)
Alhamdullilah.

Looking forward to planning and executing the Hen Night party!

Brighter than Sunshine x Aqualung

Of the parents' 22nd wedding anniversary.

Of Iftar with Han.

Of Iftar with Dila, Julie and Naz.

Of 500 ketupats and Syawal.

And of a random visit to a nenek who couldn't be happier.
