Come On x Ben Jelen

Dongdong, Skin & Jeanette at our troupe's exhibition at the Ancient Civilisation Museum

Jeanette (a.k.a Linda Santos) has been really anxious to go back to Thailand lately and I do have to say, that her anxiousness is getting pretty infectious.
Often when she goes into her "EH! I wanna go back to Thailand ar!" trance, my thoughts float back to the simply splendid time we had in Chiang Rai and then the rocking good times we had in the wee hours of the morning and night in Bangkok, in the districts of Pratunam and Khaosan, even though it was just for a measly 3 days.

I recalled that "Crazy Taxi" tuk-tuk ride we had from the night market back to our hotel, with Marj squished and shrieking like a crazy cow in between Linda and myself.
I didn't get it when Nad and Jos said we've been cheated when we paid 150 baht for that ride; I thought it was well worth it.
Taxis in Thailand, on the other hand, are such rip-offs.

You know, there's times when I just look out from the balcony, realise that there isn't a single bloody star in the entire bloody sky, get really pissed and then wish a massive blackout will happen again just so that I could see a blanket of a million stars, with a couple of shooting stars zooming by every few minutes.
It was so beautiful in Chiang Rai... in Bangkok too, but yeah, nothing beats the night sky in Chiang Rai.
My first and hopefully not my last.

I dreaded going to Thailand, cos first and foremost, it meant no Han for over half a month.
I guess at times when I was really busy there, it helped me to quit wishing he was there so much.
Then, as I boarded the plane to leave Thailand, I dreaded it too.
I kept on wondering when will I get to step on Thailand soil again.

Its going to be almost a year since my trip there.
The two jabs that I got for the trip should be wearing out by now, considering they're supposed to last for about a year.

Jeanette, myself and the girls have been planning to go for a trip to sunny Bangkok really soon.
No boyfriends, no crushes... a full fledged girly backpacking trip sometime next year, perhaps.

I can't wait!

On a side note, Han's SMS attempt at the Malay language a few weeks back (I still have it!):

"Sayangku! Kenape tak msg saya? Saya woke up at "satu satu kosong kosong" am but got up at 12.14. Lol. Are we not meeting today?"

Hahaha.
i love you, silly.
