No?
So... I'll just drop a hint, yes?

Now, any answers? =)

Your Call x Secondhand Serenade

Back from Batam, Germs, not BINTAN!

Batam was fantastic!!
Full body traditional massages for SGD11.00.
The shopping was incredible.
Freshly barbecued seafood for 7 pax for SGD17.00.
And the shopping was cheap!
4.5 star hotel stays at SGD43.00.
And the shopping...ARGH!

*blissful sigh*
Did I mention that the shopping was great?

Bugger off to whoever that said that the stuff there were expensive/priced just like those in Singapore, because I'm sure as hell I only paid 1/10 of the retail price in Singapore for that Escada perfume I bought there.
And the 19 pieces of clothings I bought for **** **** ****** only amounted to a smidgen amount.

Here's to looking forward to glue guns and flashing and popping bulbs come next Saturday, girls =)

I've Just Seen A Face x The Beatles

Best thing I bought for myself in 19 years plus.
I've always kinda loved the Beatles' sound... but right now, I'm declaring myself a huge fan.

And that guy who plays Jude, with that thick Brit accent, that rich velvety voice of his and those dark, sleepy eyes is the utmost absolute drool-worthy specimen brought to screen by man.

"Falling, yes, I am falling and she is calling me back again..."

The Way That I Love You x Ashanti

May Batam have lots of purple stuff for ECC.

May the photo shoot which will commence after I come back be BRILLIANT.
May pom pom earrings be all the rage.
May working with Rain & Vinnie today usher in lots of good hoopla.
May I be prepared to face school again (read: in less than 2 months!).
May Han & Rain have a good time in camp come 15th September 2008.
May their bald heads not dampen the spirit of Hari Raya-ing.

And may Rifqy & Trisha remain devastatingly adorable for the rest of their lives.

Amin.

Whatever It Takes x Lifehouse

Han turned 20.

A quiet affair for 2, well, till late night that is =)

I managed to pull off my the surprise morning picnic at the Botanical Gardens.
All I told him that morning, was to be at the Botanical Gardens by 11 am and that when he came, I'll be waiting by the Swan Lake.

Seeing him pull a parcel out from his birthday chest one by one, with that smile on his face, made me elated.
And seeing that look of childish glee when he unwrapped the "Jedi Vs Sith : The Essential Guide to the Force" book, made me realise that my 3 week long hunt for it was way, way, way worth it.

Everything I planned went smoothly; picnic went well, could see how genuinely surprised he was, Carousel was crazy good (we're craving for more!) and thanks to the unexpected Mastercard's discount, it was way cheaper than we thought, went to collect our titanium rings and the rest of the night was just...let's just say, it reaffirmed the fact that we are still crazy about each other.

He got me a surprise gift, for our 27th month, which falls on the 1st of June.
A Tottenham Hotspur official merchandise bear who I aptly named, Ramos =D
I won't be caught watching a Spurs game without Ramos come next season =)

I can now sit back, take a breather and smile fondly as I looked back on the day that you turned 20.

A great big thanks to:
- Our friends/my relatives for the well wishes for Han.
- To my greatest cousin, Eha, for the late night giggles/discussion/ideas over text messages/MSN.
- And finally, to the dope Mr. Rain, for being there whenever I started panicking, for accompanying me to scour the streets for the gifts, for the countless trips to Kinokuniya/Borders/Times, for the shopping trip where you spent $300++ and for just being there when I needed to punch/smack someone. I heart you so.
.

"I hope that I'll one day deserve what you've given me, but all I can do is try.
Everyday of my life."

You Belong to Me x Jason Wade

I spent a few minutes reading back my old diary entries, just mere minutes ago.
And, I stumbled across one particular entry that made me grin like a fool and started a blaze of warm fuzziness all over me.

---*draws a divider*---

23rd January 2006, 2327 hours

Everytime she meets his eyes...
... she gets the flutters.

And everytime he looks her way...
... she envelopes herself in the warmth of that familiar gaze.

And everytime he touches her...
... she would close her eyes. as if capturing that moment in her thoughts.

And everytime they were alone...
... she'll drag time a lil' bit more.

She rather spends a minute with him,
than a day with anyone else.

And when he turns to give her one last glance,
as they headed for their own separate journeys home,
the unbelievable happens.

She starts missing him.

---*draws a divider*---

GOODNESS.
I was a lost, lovesick 17 year old then.

Not really sure if it was pure old puppy love, a silly crush or an infatuation.
And this, was after Han and I knew we had a thing for each other, after he dropped me that message on the 18th of January '06, exactly at midnight, that gave me the mother of all "racing hearts" attacks =)

However, 7 days later, after a rowdy session of soccer, after changing together with the boys in the Gents at the old Tanglin campus, after missing 9 trains, he "asked me out".

And today, after approximately 746 days together, I can't believe he still has that effect on me, only about 2310948734 times stronger than before.

Walking in the rain.

When I Look to the Sky x Train

Today, as I walked home after work, the rain unexpectedly poured, after 4 scorching, looonngg days.

And instead of seeking for shelter under bus stops, blocks and multi purpose halls like everyone else around me, I stopped walking, tilted my head up and let the rain run through my hair, onto my cheeks and soak into my clothes.

I forgot how good rain feels on skin and I recalled how I used to like walking in it.

As I continued my journey back home, Train's "When I Look to the Sky" kept playing in my head, subconsciously.

Hence, the change in the blog's song =)

"Cause when I look to the sky
Something tells me you're here with me

And you make everything alright
And when I feel like I'm lost
Something tells me you're here with me
And I can always find my way when you are here

And every word I didn't say
Caught up in some busy day
And every dance on the kitchen floor, we didn't have before

And every sunset that we'll miss
I'll wrap them all up in a kiss
And pick you up in all of this when I sail away"

- When I Look to the Sky, Train.

Calling All Angels x Train

Yup, the last time I checked, I'm still an aunt who's super obsessed with her now-not-so-little nephew.

I promised I'd bring him down to the playground tomorrow.

And while he sees that as a chance to run amok, terrorising those around him to get to the see saw first, I see it as a wonderful photo op with him as my subject =)

Yes, as you can see, I've got severe adorerititis rifqytism.
Nope, I don't see a point in curing it.

Iris x Goo Goo Dolls

First agenda : To bring or not to bring back the bob/bangs/"Fever!" fringe?

Second (and final agenda, really) : I've got the jitters.
I really hope I can pull it off this 31st May.

I really, really, reaaaaaaallllyyy want to execute the "Sunrise Surprise" well.
And after that, we can proceed to the Carousel for the birthday meal and whatever else we have planned till late at night.

But, right now, even though the Sunrise Surprise would probably cost only about 1/3 of the total bill for the Carousel meal, it's much, much, much more important to me than anything else that day.

Well, of course, it's not as important as seeing you grin gleefully like you did on your 19th last year.

Last year, I sacrificed my JUICE magazinessss and painstakingly (*sobs*) cut out little, itty-bitty pieces and glued them to the box.
This year, I inhaled (well, not that much) toxic fumes as I spray painted and painted acrylic patterns on your birthday chest.

MUAHAHAHA.
You really have no idea what I'm up to you, don't you? *satisfied smirk*

Fall For You x Secondhand Serenade

"If only I could find the words to express these tight mixed feelings inside me that's growing each day to make you understand how much you mean to me...", he says.

Now, give me a chance to try and put down in words what I believe those similar feelings in me would be.

It is to understand.
Understand what you want.
What you need.

It is to give.
Rather than take.

It is to think.
About you over self.

It is to be there.
When you need a shoulder.

It is to listen.
When you need to speak.

It is to see.
To the heart.
To the feelings inside.

It is to care.
When others don't.

It is to miss.
A day, feeling like a year.

It is a feeling.
I have for you.

For today.
For tomorrow.
For now.
And forever.

I Want You to Want Me x Save Ferris

On the 3rd of May, Lala got engaged to her beau =)
A beautiful ceremony.
A stunning Lala.

Engaged!

The very rojak graduates of Republic Polytechnic.

This time, minus Zann dear and minus PHP + MySQL.
We'd love for you to be there, Zanny!

And lastly, Han & me with the blushing newly engaged Lala.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish the both of you the every happiness in your present and future endeavours.Thank you for sharing your excitement and nervousness with me through means of SMS-ing and emailing =)

Looking forward to your wedding...and

...YAY, I'M THE FIRST GODMOTHER!

*Pictures creditted to Lala's multiply.
I'm Yours x Jason Mraz

I'm trying my bestest to make this particular birthday the best one.
Mission with Rain on Sunday to scour the streets for the perfect gifts/outfits/thingamabobs to fill up space in big box.

And damn, that particular bintang
perangs (translated) book is freaking difficult to find here in Singapore -_-

I always get so, so stressed up when the turn of a new year arrives.
5 months of planning for both yearly anniversaries and several major birthdays is NEVER enough.

Last birthday before he goes to "Be a Man"(
*rolls eyes*) at Tekong, hence, I've got to make it a good one.
Thus far, 3 things down, about 4 more to go.

Crunch time.

And not ONCE did he hit Charlie.

The Nation Calls.

The Best Defense is Nonsense x Caracal

Han's got his National Service posting.
15th September '08, Tekong.

Right smack in the middle of Ramadhan.

I'm pretty excited, really.
Yes, the mandatory "cry to sleep at night" nights will come and go, but yeah, I'm positive we'll stay strong no matter what.

We're working together in the same building now, too.
I'm gonna make sure I take Ryan for manymanymanymany walks past his shop on the days we work together =)

We have forever to spend together.
And he's going in for less than 2 years...

What's that to forever, right? *winks*

you.

Always Be My Baby x David Cook

"I don't know how to say it... I don't know why... But I think I'm falling for you..."

Though it was said about 2 years and 2 months ago, I can't help but still feel that rush when you said it to me that night.

Time can't erase a feeling this strong.
Happy 26th month, dearest

Wind It Up x Gwen Stefani

Remember how we used to say we'll take small steps because we know we'll get there, it doesn't matter how long we'll take, because we KNOW that we want this to work?

Well, today we took a quantum leap =)
I can't wait to take the next quantum leap, love.

Because, after today at Pasir Laba Camp, it's beyond "i love you".

It's "i love you X xoxoxoxoxoxoxo".

Next trip, Tekong? *winks*

Not Going Back x Audiowhores Feat. Pete Simpson

Oh goddddddddddd.

My leg hurts, I've been missing breakfasts, lunches and dinners and I stand around for near 6-8 hours straight almost everyday.
I've been heaving piles of boxes of mini boots/ballet flats/heels/sneakers/oxford shoes to the storeroom so that a colleague could climb several feet above ground to keep them as stocks.

Ditto for our dear Mr. Rain, who's now my colleague =D

But we both know it's worth the sweat, dust and 379 boxes (which took 4 DHL sized lorries to transport per day, in 2 days) of numerous dresses, suits, wigs, accessories, yadayadayada when the grand opening happens this Saturday.

Finally we can stop piling animal skins and proceed to "Choose Me", "Hear Me", "Stuff Me", "Fluff Me", "Dress Me", "Name Me" and "Take Me Home".
FINALLY!

YAY US!

Be Like That x 3 Doors Down

The first present out of the five I've listed has been ordered and paid for.
Now, to wait and hope the parcel arrives when someone is home.
I rather not go down to any post office to collect the parcel when I've paid 6 bucks for the registered mail *prays hard*.

I'm verging on the edge of Brokeville =(
Let's hope the new job pays well.

Now, to make or not to make reservations?
