Saddists.

Everyone calls this "Picture Perfect"

Awww man....I adore them already. And today, Zenn's team did a video on the class... So sweet and funny and crappy...And the applause after that was DEAFENING!!

Huddle over Nic...

Willie is ridiculous.

"The truth is...

...they need to understand that it takes two hands to clap,
...they need to realise the heaping helping of responsibility
...they need to stand the neverending streams of qurraels
...they need to take inthe unavoidable presence of conflicts
...they need to withstand the friction
....they need to succumb to alot of giving in
...they need to provide neverending commitment, trust and so much more...

... just to maintain love. "

I don't wanna go either, I know it'll be a struggle...and I know you don't like the thought of me going...
But you're not alone...and you know that.
I know you're gonna support me and be there for me if something bad crops up during those days...
But its gonna be over real soon...And we'll have time together again.

Err Time x Nelly

You know how people...well, particularly Guys, really feel that ...

"When a girl says one thing, she actually means the opposite"

I don't know about the rest of the female population...but we can't blame them I guess. I mean, most of my galfriends and I ARE these sorts of "I-Really-Mean-The-Total-Opposite".

I mean...Reality Check: **

Situation One:
Boy: Hey, honey! I bought "fill in the blank" for you...No reason....Just wanted to get you something. Hope you like it, sweetie.
Girl: Awwww shucks...How many times have I told you NOT to waste your money on me!? Don't do this again lar...I'll feel guilty *can't help but grins widely*

Ok, tell me...which normal human being, irregardless of gender, WOULDN'T be touched or hugely appreciate this small gesture. It makes you appreciate the giver a whole lot more. Even though they say "Don't do this again".... they'll be doubly, triply, quadraply touched if the guy/galfriend DID do it the next time. Its common sense and its only natural they feel that way.

Situation 2:
Boy: Eh, you sure you don't mind watching Attack of The Blasted Goggly Brain Aliens In Space IV?
Girl: Yeah sure, it's fine I suppose... *sulks but doesn't show"

I mean, come on... They're just saying they don't mind cos, in actual fact, they don't wanna watch flying mucus brains splatter on the screen..but then again, they don't want to appear "demanding". We don't have to watch some cheesy romantic chick flick, right? Horror flicks are still the best, I guess.

Alright. I do agree (and I'm saying these as a female) that girls ARE complicated creatures.

We won't show what we really wanna say. We expect you to get it...to understand us instantly.

Yes, its unfair... but thats how we are. We appreciate spontaneity. Girls find that trait particularly attractive, I believe.

Lads, if you wanna send a lady home, make sure you do, unless she's REALLY persistent that she doesn't want you to. She's only saying "You don't have to..." and "No need lar..." cos she really wants to see how much more time you wanna spend with her...how much you wanna send her home... and that mere 10 minute walk home could work wonders...and who knows...

Sparks may FLY.

OMG. I'm startin to sound like Oprah Winfrey. I swear I can go on... but let's stop here. Just wanted to get these thoughts, that had been bugging my mind all week long, off the top of my head.

**No relation to the current relationship, thank you.

Grillz x Nelly

Half the class is playin Mario.

Nicholas is being really loudly vulgar to the poor Mario dude.

Jones just passed Derek(our FACI,mine you) this Mahjong game through my thumbdrive.

Some team is presenting their codes to the class.

Willie has been flippin a 50 cent coin between his fingers since he sat down at 9.30 a.m this morning.

We're just reading off our slides.

Tell me again....

WHY am I in school today??

That La,La,La x Rihanna

It's kinda rare to hear a guy's point of view.
And honestly, when us girls know...
Its really interesting...
And it makes us appreciate those really special guys around us a lil' bit more.
----------------------------------------------------

You might agree with it, but when it actually happens 99% of girls dont realize it till it is too late and that guy who did it is so frustrated that he has moved on to someone who will take notice.

From a guy's point of view:

We don't care if you talk to other guys.

We don't care if you're friends with other guys.

But when you're sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room and you jump up and tackle him, without even introducing us,yeah,it pisses us off.

It doesn't help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without even acknowledging the fact that we're still there.

We don't care if a guy calls you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned.
Nothing is that important at 2 a.m. that it can't wait till the morning.
__________________________________________

Also, when we tell you you're pretty/ beautiful/gorgeous/ cute/ stunning, we freaking mean it.

Don't tell us we're wrong.

We'll stop trying to convince you.

The sexiest thing about a girl is confidence.
_________________________________________

Don't be mad when we hold the door open.

Take ADVANTAGE of the mood we're in.

LET US PAY FOR YOU!DON'T "FEEL BAD"

We enjoy doing it.It's expected.

Smile and say "Thank You."

__________________________________________

Kiss us when no one's watching.

If you kiss us when you know somebody's looking,we'll be more impressed.
__________________________________________

You don't have to get dressed up for us.

If we're going out with you in the first place, you don't have to feel the need to wear the shortest skirt you have or put on every kind of make up you own.

We like you for WHO you are and not WHAT you are.

Honestly, I think a girl looks more beautiful when she's just in her pj's.
Or my t-shirt and boxers, not all dolled up.
__________________________________________

Don't take everything we say seriously.

Sarcasm is a beautiful thing.

See the beauty in it.

Don't get angry easily.

________________________________________

Stop using magazines/media as your bible.

Don't talk about how hot Morris Chesnutt,BradPitt, or Jesse McCartny is in front of us.

It's boring, and we don't care.

You have girlfriends for that.
__________________________________________

Whatever happened to the word "Handsome"/"Beautiful"

I'd be utterly stunned by a girl who greeted me with "Hey Handsome!" instead of "Hey baby/stud/cutie/sexy" or whatever else you can think of.

On the other hand I'm not sayin I wouldn't like it ether ; )
__________________________________________

Girls, I cannot stress this enough:

IF YOU AREN'T BEING TREATED RIGHT BY A GUY, DON'T WAIT FOR HIM TO CHANGE. DITCH HIS SORRY, DISGRACE-TO-THE-MALE-POPULATION ASS, AND FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL TREAT YOU WITH UTTER RESPECT

Someone who will honor your morals.

Someone who will make you smile when you're at your lowest.

Someone who will care for you even when you make mistakes.

Someone who will love you, no matter how bad you make them feel.

Someone who will stop what they're doing just to look you in the eyes....and say
"I Love You"

.......AND ACTUALLY MEAN IT.

"Girls say 'Guys are Jerks' , we say ' Look who's talking, Bitch!'.

She'll Never Understand x Matchbook Romance

Been away to Malacca since Saturday morning and I've reached home to the comfort of Sengkang around 9.30 p.m., Monday night.
You don't know how relieved I felt seeing familiar roads and buildings.
Being in Malacca felt like I've stepped back a few eras...

AND IT WAS SCORCHING HOT.
The weather didn't really agree with me, so a nose bleed was never too far away.

There was more than 3 generations from my dad's side who went on the trip.
So, you can imagine the mess and the disastrous noises.
What from the bawling babies, to the cousins who sang off-key, to the grandpa who's forever speaking in a booming voice.

Enough text, more photos

And we're off, from Compasspoint's drop-off point, and it was too early to look happy

High-tea at Century Mahkota Hotel, Melaka. Great ambience, good service, and SUSHI

Sights and sounds at Century Mahkota Hotel

Snaps of the lovely people that makes up the term "Family"

Booked into INB resort...and the great thing was, we had all 23 bungalows, the entire resort booked for ourselves

Having the entire resort to ourselves means that the pool is ours.We swam.. day in and day out, since the sun rose till the the moon's in. Everyone's wrinkled and the pool's taken a totally different shade of blue...errr...its no longer blue either

The hubbub of activities and games planned...it was crazy-mad-noisy. We had everything from Bingo to balloons to water polo...and man, I rule at Bingo, can =D

We karaoke-ed all day too..and as seen above, Afiq was already in his PJs, so it was wayyyy past his bedtime...say...past midnight..and also... also...adults should be banned from dancing. You don't know how embarrassed I was when dad was tryina get his "jiggy down"...

THE HORROR

The final day soon came...and we left Malacca. We drove up to Senibung for dinner by the sea, where the seafood was as fresh as it gets.

The menu ranged from (according to the order they arrived at the table) -

Otah as starters,A huge heaping of rice, Hotplate Beancurd, Black Pepper Crabs, Deep Fried Black Pepper Grouper, Butter Prawns, Butter Calamari, Tom Yam soup, Sambal Kangkong, Chilli Mussels and we washed it all down with a huge jug of Watermelon juice. Finished it all off with a choice between chocolate swirl or strawberry swirl ice-cream. WHOLESOME.

We dined on the beach, watched the sunset and watched the stars dot the night sky. It was BEAUTIFULLLLL....But really, I can't wait to get back to Singapore.

I didn't even chew a single piece of gum while I was there. There wasn't much time to shop around, didn't buy much stuff either. Pathetic. All I got was several tops and some other stuff... which is only so little, cos one really REALLY shops when they're overseas, I think.

Nonetheless, the mother and the father bought almost RM 80 worth of tidbits and crackers. Dad bought this DISGUSTING bottle of smashed shrimp and you can see their beady black eyes, pressed against the wall of the glass bottle and its REALLY GROSS.

How can any sane human being eat that??!!

Well, bottomline is...I'm back home now...sick...and bus lagged...and even though my nose doesn't bleed anymore, there's a never-ending flow of mucus.

I finished up 2 boxes of 200 pieces of tissues this afternoon.

Nonetheless, it was worth it, I guess. A 3-generation get together

Fer the one who's always been there...

To share everything...
The ups and the downs.
The good and the bad.
The delicious and the disgusting.

To make everything...
A hella lot easier
A hella lot fun-ner
And of cos...a hella lot more lovable and memorable

To ensure that I...
Have someone to fall back on.
Have someone to instill faith in doubtful moments.
Have someone to go with wherever I'm heading for.

Fer all your lame/wise cracks, the nonsense(sssssss), the laughters, the pokes in the ribs, the "you're goin down, sucker!" arm lock moments(... and if I were to list it all... I won't know where to stop.)
...I thank you and wish you all the best in the many years to come.

Happy 18th Birthday,luv.

Don't You Get It?

Dad's division told him to be on standby.
They're gonna send the Singapore troops as peacekeepers to help the situation in Dili,East Timor.

An article I chanced upon today;about the situation in Dili:

Youths armed with parangs and wooden clubs guarded their surroundings late last night as the confrontations between the goverment soldiers and protestors pursued on.
Yesterday, commando troops from Australia arrived in Dili's capital to help restore peace.
Canberra is expected to send 1,300 soldiers, whereas troops from New Zealand, Malaysia and Portugal are expected to arrive in a few days' time...

That's a whole lot of troops needed to restore peace in such a small country, isn't it?
Truth is, I don't want him to go.
What if he doesn't make it back?
What if some deranged ass of a protestor hacks him?!
Ok.Maybe I'm being a tad over dramatic here.
Yes, like he said, it hasn't been confirmed but come on, I cry when he flies to Brunei to train in the jungles there. This is way worst than training in lush terrains.

He told me its part of the job. If it's all confirmed, like he said "I die die have to go".

Watching CNA doesn't help either. Seeing armed troops and outraged protestors come together isn't a pretty sight. It scares the shit out of me.

Don't you get it?
I don't want you to go.

Non-Toxic x SR-71

I wonder if they'll ever understand.
If they could keep a mind open enough; to let loose just a wee bit of the "precints" that we both knew existed, even before we devoted ourselves into this.

Inserted the movie into the DVD rom of my laptop...and as I watched the scences flicker on the screen...I'm reminded of the situation I'm in.
It's exactly the same.

She asked me, "Why?"
I didn't know what to say, whether she'll hold against me; whatever I'm about to say in the next few seconds.
I reacted with an answer I knew she wasn't expecting.
And I knew, she realised exactly how serious I was about this when she looked into my eyes.

What's so difficult?
Just like that line in the show

What's the point of Love existing if we believe in boundaries?

I'll prove to them that for once, I'm sure this thing here, is exactly what I need and NOT what I want.

That's two freakingly-gargantously-immensely different words with wayyyyyyyy different meanings.

If All Else Fails x Matchbook Romance

Java lessons always rock.
And I guess my class is kinda forming one huge 25 pax bond.
I'm glad =)

Azure (pronounced A-zu-ree) stuck out like a sore thumb. In bright orange. Being the only non-blacked person for the day. He forgot.*rolls eyes*

The moments worth remembering. I think.

Willie Lyou

Who smiles/grins/laughs 24/7 except for when taking photos.

The point of the day where we stopped acting our age.

E35N All Blacked.

And NO, I didn't do any peace signs. That sideways one is Gina's.I just grinned...

And we're gonna go all red next.

And all she said was...

Be careful when you give your heart to someone...
Cos you're not only giving them the power to Love you
But the power to take that away from you as well.
