Misery x Good Charlotte

Aidilfitri this year was amazing.
The 2nd day of Raya with the cousins and the DSLRs was needless to say, chaotic and fun.
And we all have the latest family portraits now too =)
Super satisfied.

On the 5th day of Eid Mubarak, I went out with the beloved poly girlfriends.
Just 7 girls, but we ventured between Sengkang to Chinese Gardens and ended at this very out-of-the-way place in Bedok.

Linda, Suhailah, Shikin, Diana, Marianah, Hida and Tina.

While eating, chatting, mingling and Hari Raya-ing!

Linda & Skin, Lala & Tina, Hida, Marianah & Dee =)
We went home, freaking tired, feet all blistered but a tad bit richer and very happy.

Can't wait for next Saturday!

Let Me Go x 3 Doors Down

I look to my left and there's no more big, bulky tank.
There's like echoes bouncing off my walls when I spoke to my dad just now.
It's just weird.

But then again, all the more space for me to put unnecessary junk on.
But sometimes.... just sometimes, I wish Bubblegum was jumping off it's little "tree" again.

I don't even know what Bubblegum's gender is.
Yes, it's that bad.

Come On x Ben Jelen

Dongdong, Skin & Jeanette at our troupe's exhibition at the Ancient Civilisation Museum

Jeanette (a.k.a Linda Santos) has been really anxious to go back to Thailand lately and I do have to say, that her anxiousness is getting pretty infectious.
Often when she goes into her "EH! I wanna go back to Thailand ar!" trance, my thoughts float back to the simply splendid time we had in Chiang Rai and then the rocking good times we had in the wee hours of the morning and night in Bangkok, in the districts of Pratunam and Khaosan, even though it was just for a measly 3 days.

I recalled that "Crazy Taxi" tuk-tuk ride we had from the night market back to our hotel, with Marj squished and shrieking like a crazy cow in between Linda and myself.
I didn't get it when Nad and Jos said we've been cheated when we paid 150 baht for that ride; I thought it was well worth it.
Taxis in Thailand, on the other hand, are such rip-offs.

You know, there's times when I just look out from the balcony, realise that there isn't a single bloody star in the entire bloody sky, get really pissed and then wish a massive blackout will happen again just so that I could see a blanket of a million stars, with a couple of shooting stars zooming by every few minutes.
It was so beautiful in Chiang Rai... in Bangkok too, but yeah, nothing beats the night sky in Chiang Rai.
My first and hopefully not my last.

I dreaded going to Thailand, cos first and foremost, it meant no Han for over half a month.
I guess at times when I was really busy there, it helped me to quit wishing he was there so much.
Then, as I boarded the plane to leave Thailand, I dreaded it too.
I kept on wondering when will I get to step on Thailand soil again.

Its going to be almost a year since my trip there.
The two jabs that I got for the trip should be wearing out by now, considering they're supposed to last for about a year.

Jeanette, myself and the girls have been planning to go for a trip to sunny Bangkok really soon.
No boyfriends, no crushes... a full fledged girly backpacking trip sometime next year, perhaps.

I can't wait!

On a side note, Han's SMS attempt at the Malay language a few weeks back (I still have it!):

"Sayangku! Kenape tak msg saya? Saya woke up at "satu satu kosong kosong" am but got up at 12.14. Lol. Are we not meeting today?"

Hahaha.
i love you, silly.

Kekasih Gelapku x Ungu

Besides the fact that my hair now smells like almond london chocolate cookies, the house's stripped of carpets and curtains (so much so that we looked like we've been robbed) and that I cut myself with the blender blade while making hazelnut "powder" , the Hari Raya mood is sinking in really fast.

I believe this year is the year where I've made the record number of trips to Geylang, with the mum & dad, with LalaTinaMarianahHida and with Han... and it feels/looks different each time I'm there.
Weird, no?

I've fasted for 15 days straight, and then (like Tina proudly to the class a few days back), "my egg died".
To add, she innocently asked, "How do I make it "not die" the next time?".
When we told her how... she said, "But my mum will get mad at me*pouts*".
*shakes head*

Let's see... FYP2 is up and running... though we're kinda lost because there's fewer things to be done compared to the first one... or maybe we missed out a whole crapload of stuff and need to restart all over again -.-
Hopefully not. *crosses fingers*

I'm thankful with how things have been turning out lately.
Thankful for the fact that my parents are increasingly supportive of my choices in love and in life.
Thankful for the fact that I know my parents have my back no matter what choice I'll make after I graduate.
Thankful for the fact that they've welcomed Han with open arms.
Thankful for the fact that I've lovely (if not crazy) friends in school.
And thankful for the opportunities that have been bestowed upon me =)

Alhamdullilah, syukur.

Somebody's Me x Enrique Iglesias

Geylang with the girls this Wednesday?

I have Tina for class tomorrow... and Lala's class is just opposite us... meaning, we'll probably spend the day running up and down 7 levels again...

...adoi.

Friday, September 14, 2007

Screw what I said in the previous post.

They rushed the FYP II allocations.
It's out!
We've got our first choice!!!! *does a jig*

Here we go again, ladies.
Angels Cry x The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

FYP2 allocation pushed to 15th September.

Buggers.

On another note... I've been tagged.
I'm only gonna this ONCE.
And no more tagging!

The person who tagged you is : AYUL!
Your relationship with him/her is : Secondary school classmate, Breeks!/Seoul Garden colleague, friends for 7 years.
5 impressions you have of him/her : Where do I start? Erm, he's a mummy's boy, he sure can eat, he's a real sweetie beneath all that "mat-boy" exterior, he gets bloody irritating when he starts going berserk in a lift full of people and he's pro-Apple.

If he/she becomes your lover? : Nooooooo. Too very, very different individuals... No way it'll last.
If he/she becomes your lover, things he/she has to improve on will be : Nothing. You love the person for what he/she is and isn't.
If he/she becomes your enemy, you will: Storm over to his house and tell his mummy all his dirty little secrets.
If he/she becomes your enemy, the reason will be: The constant complains of "You never answer my calls, BITCH!" from him.
The most desirable thing you want to do for him/her now is : Force him to quit smoking.
Your overall impression of him/her is : Cuckoo and loud, but on those really rare occasions when he's serious about something, you'd better be serious too.

How do you think people around you will feel about you : I don't know... I smile to just about anyone... maybe they think I'm psychotic for doing so.
The characteristic you love about yourself is : I guess...my tolerance level.
The characteristic you hate about yourself is : Snapping at Han at least once a day.
The most ideal person you want to be is : Myself... with a dash of mummy's awesome ability to whip up those dishes.
For people that care and like you, say something to them: I care and like you too! -.-

List down the names of 10 people you can think of from the top of your head: (Yes, I changed this to save EVERYONE the hassle)
1. Sim Beng Han
2. Siti Suhailah
3. Mazlinda
4. Yap Wen Jun
5. Sitti Fatinah
6. Germaine Ong
7. Marjory Koh
8. Wan Nur Saliha
9. Wan Nur Aisya
10. Iswandi

*I ran out of names, okay.
Gimme a break. Pffft.

Who is No.6 having a relationship with? : Single (Right, Germs?!) but I wonder if she still has a thing for that boy.
Is No.9 a male or female? : Female
If No.7 and No.10 are together, will it be a good thing? : *Faints* Are you kidding me? They're as different as... two different men's fingerprints.
What is No.2 studying? : Diploma in Business Computing
When was the last time you had a chat with No.3? : Not 'chat' chat... But I bumped into her while shopping last week.
What kind of music does No.8 like? : R&B... soft, mellow, love-ish tracks
Does no.1 has any siblings? : Yes, a younger brother in Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Will you woo No.3? : Linda? Hmmmm... I'll try it when semester commences. She'll probably kill me though.
How about no.7? : She'll laugh like a deranged hyena.
Is No.4 single? : The last time I checked, yes.
What's the surname of No.5?: TINA ANAK BAPAK.
What's the hobby of No.4?: Getting herself occupied with meetings and stressed 24/7... think she still enjoys her wushu and singing.
Do No.5 and No.9 get along well? : They don't bloody know each other bloody exists.
Where is No.2 studying at? : Republic Polytechnic.
Say something random about No.1: He draws very well.
Have you tried developing feelings for No.8? : My cousin, so technically, I love her, but not in a touchy-feely kinda way.
Where does No.9 live? : Compassvale, near Compasspoint, 2nd floor, next to the staircase.
What colour does No.4 like? : Not really sure. All things vibrant?
Are No.5 and No.1 best friends? : Highly doubt so.
Does No.7 like No.2? : I think they'll get along fine, if given the chance... They're sooo similar in their crazy mannerisms.
How did you get to know No.2? : Through one of my best-est ever class, E35N.
Does No.1 have any pets? : Nope.
Is No.7 the sexiest person in the world? : Hell yeah!

Okayyy, done!

I've been up till 2 odd am last night, I woke up at 4.30 am for the pre-dawn meal, where I had 3 cups of tea and a bit of Fruity Pebbles, I've peed 4 times since, it's 8.44 am and I should try and get some sleep, cause Han will once again, wake up at 2.26 pm, and I've no one to whine to till then.

Far Away x Nickelback

You're everything I'm not, and it makes you the perfect other half for me.
You make me whole.
You've caused me pain and hurt, you've taught me trust and love.
I don't wish to be the incomplete person I was before I met you.

You're my inspiration too, love.

IKEA tomorrow!
I need frames... all glass, clean edges, no "actual frame", just clips.
Room needs a revamp.

More Than A Love Song x Augustana

Lovelovelove.

I was rudely forced to wake up early this morning to meet Han for hotcakes but nooooooo, of all the days, the hotcake thingamabob decided that today WAS the day that it'll break down.
Pfffffft.

And today... the loooong overdued shopping mission was finally, FINALLY accomplished today.
New threads for the new semester for the both of us.
I'm knackered, my feet's sore, I've got blisters on my little toes, I'm broke but ultimately, I'm happy and satisfied (=
Happy sangat sangatttttt.

Another thing to be happy about is that I've got all the modules I really wanted, there's familiar faces in all my classes and Han and I have the exact same schedules *beams*
School's only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, unless you count FYP2 in, of course.
I can't wait for school to start... then end, AND THEN worry about what I've to do next.

Uni?
Work?

Marry a rich, dying old man,get all his fortune, hijack an F16 and rescue Han from the evil that is National Service and move to Frankfurt to build a love nest?

Huhhhhhh.

When A Woman Loves A Man x Westlife

Its amazing how looking through old folders of secondary school pictures in your desktop could send you on a roller coaster of emotions.
I smiled... I laughed out loud to myself... I sighed... and most of all, I missed.

I miss all of them... I miss all of the moments.

Take for example, the above picture... It was Hafiz's, Ayul's and my 17th birthday (=

And in the first picture, you see Ida and Fei teaching all of us how to play "Chop Chilli Chop", in the middle of the night, on Istana Park's cold, damp ground...and you see us girls posing and jumping off stuff, you see two beautiful girls whom I used to be really close with, you see the October babies flashing their birthday loot and you see the entire clique.

It was needless to say, an amazing birthday... and celebrations nowadays are undoubtedly different.
The chaotic-ness has been replaced with quiet, intimate moments of movies/dinners/outings for two with Han, with cozy, medium sized birthday cakes and presents with the family in the living room, the sometimes totally ridiculous presents and wishes from adorable cousins and friends.
Its a mellower affair, to say the least
But also, it's become more memorable... not that birthdays back then wasn't, but... I don't know how to explain it.

And who can forget all these random moments of fun?

The frequent visits to the beach, the camwhoring session, the "Let's Smother Everyone with This Really Expensive Cake" moments, Siti's amazing "Sweet 17 Birthday Bash" and the very memorable Aidilfitri gatherings where everyone went home tired, but rich (=

I will never, ever, ever forget Bowen Secondary School... or rather, 4E6, Class of 2004.

The messy art room sessions, the most memorable Racial Harmony Day, National Day and Youth Day celebrations EVER.
Remember Mr. Selvarasoo?
Well, that first picture was taken in the Physics Room.
I forgot the fact that it existed, until I saw that picture... and I remember how we used to play a fool with Selvarasoo... and how he labeled us Malay girls "Geylang Sisters", because we just won't stop yakking during his classes.

I miss all of them but I guess I had the chance to make a choice and I didn't know what I was doing back then, when everything started changing bit by bit.
I wish things were somewhat different.
I still do have online chats with Hafiz and Az, although they're pretty rare... and sometimes, I bump into Shafik... and Ayul still calls to "Lepak ar!" and so forth.

Lastly, I suppose you all remember 4E7's monitor, Jackson? And the gorgeous Yeo Shafiqah aka Shaq?

That's them... and yup, both in the RP Dragonboat team.
That's Shaq's beau, Ernst and THAT, is a very golden-looking Jackson... literally forcing people to join his dragonboat team.
Both extremely tanned... Jackson's all muscular from the rowing and Shaq's still the same, cos all she does is drum.
Heh.

*sigh*

When We Die x Bowling For Soup

So, after realizing that Friday was NOT the 1st of September, meaning not YET our 18th, we still celebrated like it was =)
And today, Shaq celebrates her one year (fill in the blank) months with dragonboat boy Ernst.

Previous semester's results are out!
Go to Academic Information under Admin... and TA-DA!...your newly released GPA and grades.
I'm pretty happy.
GPA went up and grades are promising... Mum's pleased too.
Alhamdullilah.

PP and CE are both completed and passed.
FYP1's grade is out.
And all that's left is FYP2... and of course, one last very short 3 day week semester, before we become the next diploma graduates of Republic Polytechnic.
Then, it's bye bye PBL, bye bye idiotic schedule of 0830 hours to 1600 hours...
And hello Uni life... or maybe working life.

And thennn, its hello National Service for you, Mr. Sim ... and hello to meeting my daddy in Tekong, and unfortunately for you, he knows who you are...
Good luck! *malicious laughter*

Okay, bye.

First Time x Lifehouse

1 and 1/2 years today, love...
And a lifetime of possibilities ahead tomorrow.

I can't wait.

Hey There Delilah x Plain White T's

And alas, Spurs lost to Man United, undoubtedly due to the extremely biased referee-ing... but then again, Robinson was being the now off-form blundering twat he turned into nearing the end of last season... so, yeah.
Oh well, many more matches to look forward to, I suppose.

The holidays are here and so far, I've gone shopping and completed a few more novels, rushing the completion for Zann's posters and I even managed to babysit Rifqy, who weighs tons more than your average 6 month old should... and who took a stinking dump right after I changed his pee-heavy diapers. Phoooey!

That was my first dump-filled diaper change, mind you and needless to say, I panicked.
I looked at him and asked, "Why now!? Can't you hold it till you get home?!" and all he did was look back at me straight in the eye... sizing me up, probably thinking what a loser aunt I was, not being able to change just one stinky diaper.

I'll save you all from all the gory details and all I've got to say is that consuming nothing else but milk for the first 6 months you exist in this world gives you green poop.

High waisted pants are all the rage.

And I'm so craving for authentic makes-your-lips-lipstick-red mee kuah, the sun and the sea.

I can't wait.
11 days more.

And just one more module before term break!

Another Perfect Day x American Hi-Fi

Friday marked the end of Principles of Digital Media Design, and undoubtedly, I feel kinda sad.

The rushing through of Freehand and Photoshop to meet the 2.30 p.m deadline, by which we have to have an A3 hardcopy of our pieces up on the walls, the hectic photo editing during days we have to do photography... and dealing with Cavvy's pretty ah-beng-ish English.
It's all good fun at the end of the day =)

On another note, the month of Ramadhan (read: FASTING!) is drawing nearer and nearer.
It commences officially on the 13th of September, and my 3-day-week new semester commences on the 17th of that same month.
Not too bad, I suppose.

I'm currently in the midst of "paying back" the days that I didn't fast last year.
4 days down, 5 more to go... and I thank Han for putting up with me and for the circumstances that comes along with fasting...

Just one more semester to go and I'm officially a polytechnic graduate.
What do I do from there? Where do I go? Do I really want to enroll myself into a University?

So many questions and I'm not sure where I can find the answers.

And and and... I want this!!
All wrapped and white.

And as you can see, I'm oh-so-very random.

Okaaaaaaay, Rifqy's giggling to himself on his play mat... Let's go see what's up.

Wherever You Will Go x The Calling

And so....

Final Year Project I is over =)
Santosa wasn't as intimidating as we all expected him to be either, which is great.
Finally, a short break before the horror that is FYP II begins.
Well done, ladies *hugs for everyone*

Life has been just absolutely... great =)

From the friends in class who make PBL a lot more bearable...
...to the one who forces you to take photos with them (as depicted below).
...to JUICE magazine, who did an exceptionally splendid and brilliant job with their latest August issue.[Go get your JUICE, it's free
(cos according to them: "Money is eevil") and its amazingly good too.]

...and finally, to Han who just attempted to sing finished singing Only One by Lifehouse.

*I adore you, lover.
I guess you're the only one left standing when everything else goes down.

Take Me Away x Lifehouse

For taking up so many pages of my diary.
For seeing me home 5-7 days a week.
For the times you've held me close when I cried.
For times you swept the hair away from my eyes, kissed my forehead & told me everything's okay.
For the 4.8125 semesters we've spent knowing each other.
For the 17 months together.
And for so many things you've done for me and with me.

I've no idea what else to say to you but, "i love you so,so much, dear"

Landing in London x 3 Doors Down

I'm gonna be like any other random blogger in this universe and randomly blog about what happened or is going to happen in this eventful month we all know as July =)

Firstly...
After many, many, many weeks of programming and hard coding, the FYP team decided that we all needed a major break, in conjunction of completing the programming and starting on the Project Report.

Treated ourselves to a hearty lunch at Swensens and the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix's sneak preview (a day before it opened island wide) on the 11th of July.

It felt soooo, soooo good to go down to campus on a Wednesday WITHOUT a laptop =)
How was the movie?
It was... okay... ho-hum.
The effects were spectacular... BUT, it doesn't even come close to the awesomeness of Transformers.

Duh.

I rushed back to campus for Gamelan rehearsal, Lala met her boy and Zann and Linda spent some quality naggy-mamas time together, shopping =)

Secondly, there was the Gamelan performance for the Racial Harmony Day celebrations at the Ulu Pandan Community Centre.

RP really represented this time, sending an entire line-up of Malay dancers, Indian dancers and the Indian Cultural Group, the entire Lion/Dragon dance troupe and of course, the Gamelan IG.

Considering that the organisers from the CC were bloody disorganised, we still had a great time playing and hanging out as an IG.

Han came down and watched us perform a couple of songs and off we went to town.
Impromptu neoprints, claypot rice and lotsa quality time together.
Thank you, baby.
You made me a very happy girl today *pokes*

And lastly, the upcoming PM Visit at the end of this month.
Buildings are repainted, screw ups are covered up and every IG is just bloody busy preparing for that day...
We've got rehearsals every other day... Not including the previews that suddenly pop up out of nowhere because "OSG wants it" *rolls eyes*
Urgh.

Aaah...
I need sleep.
The eye bags are horrendous.

Good night, beautiful babies.

Transformers Theme x Mutemath

Irsyad with me... during Hari Raya last year.
He's nephew number... 5?
Heh.

**Digresses...

It's weird when you listen to songs on your player and suddenly the lyrics start to strike you really hard...and the song that you thought reminded you of someone else, suddenly reminds you of another being... and you feel this familiar ache that you're so uncomfortable with and you long for it to go away... but it just won't...

And then... there's this unexplainable feeling when your design facilitator decides that he wants to call you..
Ash.
Short for Ash-kin.
When my real name is Ashikin/Shikin...
Or rather Wan Nurulashikin Binte Syed Hussein.
He can't pronounce it well... so he just... slurs it?
Haha.

Right then...
I'm off... it's been a long day, I'm bloody tired and irritable and I need to do my FYP.

Transformers x Mutemath

I swear it was a sign when I heard the Transformers' theme song play on the radio at 6.15 a.m this morning.

I knew I had to go catch it... it was today, or never...
Sooooo, Han and I made our way to The Grand Cathay at freaking 9 a.m. =)

We purchased our tickets and made our way to Ya Kun Kaya Toast for... well, toast.
We got a table next to a Chinese family of four; Mummy, Daddy, Elder Brother, Younger Brother.

While I was happily enjoying my toast, I can't help but overhear the conversation that went on between them...

Daddy: Samuel, what do you want to be when you grow up? A Transformer?
Samuel (Younger Brother): YES! I WANT TO BE A TRANSFORMER!!! *puts on his Optimus Prime paper mask*
Elder Brother: You cannot be a Transformer! They're robots... you boyyyyy.
Samuel: BUT I WANT TO BE A TRANSFORMER!

I can't help but smile at his silliness... a kid who wants to be a Transformer... Haha.

A few minutes later, Mummy decided to ask Samuel the same question, perhaps she thought that he finally understood that he can't possibly grow up and become a Transformer...

Mummy: Samuel, what do you REALLY want to be when you grow up?
Samuel: *stops munching halfway and thinks* I WANT TO BE AN AEROPLANE!!
Mummy: Aiyooo!! You mean pilot! You cannot be an aeroplane!
Samuel: NO! NOT PILOT! AEROPLANEEEEEE!!!

I looked at the kid and grinned at him... and he showed me his Optimus Prime mask.
Pretty cool, actually.

So, the time slot for our show finally arrived and we went up to the theater.
I've never been a very big fan of all things robotics... Gundam... Transformers... well, except for those Bomberman thingies of course, but they're cute... but they're not exactly robots either...

The show was awesome!
Like Samuel, I'm now convinced I want to be a Transformer when I'm older.
I'm dead serious.
Maybe a Scrambler bike, perhaps... with sleek exhaust pipes that can turn into missile launching pipes with a tracker that could detect the enemy so its bulls-eye all the time and green headlights for eyes, a soft butt that is my bike's seat... and the list goes on.

I like the Autobots and all... but maybe, I'll be one of the Decepticons instead and destroy mankind... and maybe Megatron will decide he needs a lady-bot
and we can head back to Cybertron for more Decepticons and return back to Earth and rule the world to-ge-daaaaaa!!!

*sigh*
I've got to go get my FYP programming done now.

Spin x Lifehouse

Theme: Attention (Digital Media Design module, RP Chairs)

The fear of NOT getting my module selection done and over with, is now overrrr.

So, it'll be an easy-going 3 day week next semester...

Manufacturing & Logistics II

Hospitality & Retail Systems
Multimedia Authoring & Production

Looking forward to the multimedia module... Green room, filming, filming,
Final Cut Pro.
HIA HIA LALA!

Oh!
Gamelan practice yesterday was superbbbbb!
So fun... and the sounds came out beautifuuuuuul.
And the songs are like so... not Javanese, this time around.
But, oh well...only in Gamelan, I suppose.

Rehearsed for our upcoming performance this coming 14th July...
And also for the performance for the Prime Minister visit on the 31st of July.
Republic Polytechnic's Official Opening Ceremony (again. *rolls eyes*) and 5th Anniversary Celebrations.

Final Year Project's a bit of a struggle but I guess we're ahead of several teams.
Kudos to the team *hugs all your freaky short legs*

Digressing to my next topic of that very adorable nephew,Rifqy.
He's babbling up a storm, trust me.

And lastly of course, to another being who's very much adored in my life, you
Every thing's so great, so smooth right now.
I loved the yesterdays, am loving today and will be loving all of the tomorrows with you.

Right then.

One more day of school to brave before the very well deserved weekend =)

Letters of Regret x Amber Pacific

I know I should be mugging away for tomorrow's UT... but at this point of time, I'm eating some junk out of the food ration pack Daddy brought home...

Think it's called "Tomato Noodles with Chicken" but seriously, it should be called,
"The-cook-ran-out-of-ideas-and-threw-a-packet-of-mixed-vegetables-and-artificial-chunks-of -chicken-and-decided-that-he'll-stir-the-mix-really-hard-so-that-the-noodles-look-like-barf-and-
OH-and-he -added-tomato-puree-at-the-last-second Noodles".

It's depressing...

And while I'm on the topic...
I freaked out when I realised that Han will be off to get married to the nation in about less than a year's time...

And my dad, is a man with a photographic memory, so he'll probably remember what Han looks like (He said and I quote, " Chinese but looks like a Malay boy") and then, decide to watch Han like a hawk -_-''

Somehow, he always knows if not all, MOST, of the new recruits' name *panics*

I'm not planning to start my "Who will I turn to when
(fill in the blanks)" or "Who am I going to (fill in the blanks)" because as for now, he's still here... and I'm planning to make the best use of OUR time together.

We're going to list down all the things we've said we wanted to do but never got around to doing like... going to that beach resorttttt or my bungeeeeee.

Oh... and I still laugh out loud whenever I recall the time I was down with that monstrous fever and was asleep... and you placed your finger near my nose to ensure that I was breathing -_-''
Silly thing youuuu.

Right, I'm off to study for tomorrow's UT now...

Oh, and lastly...
I love you very, very much, Han
From Yesterday x 30 Seconds To Mars

Happy 20 sen Siti Suhailah Binte Sulaiman!

Enjoy your self-declared holiday today, sweets =)

AND REMEMBER MY BIRTHDAY WISH FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY!
I want them in say...a couple of months? *winks*

Dance Floor Anthem x Good Charlotte

Marquee Troupe II, Gamelan and FYP is killinggggg me.

Performances, rehearsals, exhibitions, meetings, meet-ups after meet-ups and programming after programming...
It gets really, really frustrating after awhile.

ARGHHH.

On a MUCH brighter note, Lala and I have been approached by an upcoming design company!
We're offered positions in it... ones that are not too bad, I suppose.
But nothing is confirmed yet, as the both of us aren't really sure about being tied down to one.
Really looking forward to that, though =)

Right.
I've got to get that Weekly Log done now.

Sleep well, good people.

Sorryyyyyy =(

Sophia x Nerina Pallot

Brother's going off for some Brunei jungle thingie this coming Tuesday, okay, considering that it's technically Monday already, he's going off tomorrow.

I don't know... maybe, he's following Dad's footsteps... you know... being in the army and all.. but then again, I do recall him saying that he won't ever sign on after National Service because being in the army ultimately means (he said and I quote); "You have no life..."

So, before we bid him farewell (for just 9 days, mind you) the Syed Hussein Five went to gorge ourselves silly at Seoul Garden... and the little sister just HAD to stuff herself a tad more than everyone else, then decide that she had to puke it all out *rolls eyes*

It's been awhile since ALL of us had the time to just go out as a family...
Dad with his unpredictable work schedule, Mum working 6 days a week... you get my drift.
It was nice =)

On a side note, I woke up missing you a little bit more today, love...

Thank you for the awesome day out last Friday

Something About You x Five For Fighting

I don't know about you girls (read: Lala, Linda & Zann),
but it was terrible waking up this morning.
When I shifted about in bed, I realized my right arm ached... and for some weird, unexplained reason... my butt was aching too...
Like crazy.

Blame it on yesterday, I'd suppose.
So, tell me... more frenzied-running-kick-ass-burn-calories sessions to come, yes?
And right before Gamelan practice too....
Aaah... Lala and I will be developing pretty taut bums after this *winks*

First performance, this coming July 14th =)

That's Lala in the Gamelan's Gallery Studio.

That means... just about a month's plus worth of rehearsals for our pieces...

Crunch time!!!!

Signal Fire x Snow Patrol

"The perfect words never crossed my mind, cos there was nothing in there but You" - Han

i hope you loved the fact that your birthday this year was a quiet affair...
i hope you liked that i spilled all of my creative abilities for the presents, card and notes...
i hope you enjoyed our little dinner for two...
i hope you didn't mind me singing "Happy Birthday, Baby" all day...
i hope you'll still be with me for the next one... and the next one... and the next one...
i hope you loved dancing under the stars with me to our song that night...
i hope we'll continue this thing we have for a very, very long time...

and i know i don't have to hope that you'll love me...
cos i know, you already do. =)

Baby Loveee

Teddy Picker x Arctic Monkeys

And I'm not sure what I'm looking for.
But it's clear to see the purpose of my existence... is laying here in front of me...

And if all else fails you can look up at the sky
Because it's the same one that shines above you and I...
And if all else fails, you can close your eyes
And I'll be right beside you...
I'll be the one by your side...

So close your eyes and sleep to dream.

I'm by your side.
No words to speak.
We'll set our course and make it through.

No matter how far I go
No matter how much this hurts

I wanted you to know,
My heart remains with you...
Happy 15th
